I am short circuiting I have no brain cells left and I am totally absorbed in the computer writing and talking s*** I could have talked for hours as a lecturer as a speaker as a positive motivational speaker if I turn my way around with the next 30 years of my life well I'm fixing now I want to be up I want to be live up to 100 for the next 45 years yeah

Vince Gill is a an amazing guitarist! BTW, that's him playing the solo on this song. Gill's inspiration for this song was his future wife, Amy Grant. Vince co-wrote this song with Pete Wasner, who played the main keyboard parts, while session keyboardist, John Barlow Jarvis, played synthesizer. The song's bassline is played by Willie Weeks. Other musicians who played on the track include Randy Scruggs on acoustic guitar, Steuart Smith on electric guitar, Carlos Vega on drums, and Tom Roady on percussion. Trisha Yearwood provided backing vocals. Very emotional song, makes me cry.

This song is clearly one of the best songs Vince has performed. I'm from NZ and every time I hear Vince Gill's music especially these moving songs. It reminds me of my late father. It was he that introduced Vince Gill's music into my life. I am one of those people who have never taken singing to another level. If I were start somewhere, it will be singing songs such as these. Beautiful music for the soul. The years are slowly disappearing for me now. That doesn't matter anymore and its algd I love singing your music Vince. 🎶 Keep up the good work.

I feel like this about a crush I had when I was 17 and she was 14. I wanted to ask her out, but I thought she would turn me down, and I thought she was 12 because she was in 7th grade. She tried to ask me out when I was 22 and she was 19, but I was engaged ( woman her age that I wasn't in love with, and didn't love) that was pregnant. I had stopped talking to her because her Mom said I was scaring her (thought she was 15). Now, 3 wks ago,...I realize she had a crush on me as well back then. I am now married (#4) and miserable. Can't stop thinking about this woman who takes my breath away when I think about her or look at her picture

I tried to help a very troubled younger woman find a rational solution to the problems that led to her self-destructive behavior. Sadly, I not only failed to accomplish this, I fell in love with her during the process. I feel the need to clarify that I'm still married to a wonderful lady who knows this very troubled young woman I initially became involved with in a platonic way as a father figure. But I became so emotionally involved, I wasn't even aware of the fact that I'd fallen in love with her until my dear wife tearfully pointed this sad fact out to me. I was so distraught by this, I ended-up in a hospital. And the young lady would have succeeded in taking her own life had her mother not found her unconscious due to an overdose of prescription medication and alcohol. My good intentions nearly cost me my marriage, my life, and the life of the troubled young lady I sincerely tried to help get her life together... Sometimes life just sucks!

This will be a long 1. 7 months ago I met a lady that scared me silly! I've been married twice & have been divorced almost 40 years. Yup, I'm in my mid '70s so is she. Between us we have a huge family, hers with 4, me with 5. Best way to describe us is to say we've came home. We bounce off each other perfectly, we create our own entertainment. Perfectly at ease with each other as tho we've been together all these years. For so long I've seen couples that had what I wished would come my way. Now it's here & yes, I'm scared silly!
