met my boyfriend 7 months ago, at first we were just friends , I met him at a gas station i happened to walk up to the gas station and this man opens the doors for me and we kept talking , before we knew it was 2 hours later, we connected right away, we wanted to build a bond first , tbh we thought we were going to be just friends. But our bond really built almost now were falling in love with each other , he soo respectful of me and he never forces me into anything, I could never find another man like him, I really hit the jackpot. This is our song

I totally agree with you Monika. Most country music made after 2010 somewhat defaced the genre. The 1970s-1990s was the golden era. Vince Gill has an amazing voice, no autotune or digital processing required. :) Sadly, I was born in the 1990s, so never experienced the golden years.

Thanks 👍

Robert Taylor man as a native of Nashville , I was fortunate enough to meet him multiple times. My mother worked for a man name Ralph Emery who had country artists on his show. She loved that job , she did their make-up before they would go on. I met artists that I had no idea at the time who they would become such as Merle Haggard , I look back on it now at 26 and am so grateful

Perfectly pure, a penetrating pitch, and genuine. This is a song that can have anyone reflecting on a relationship that you didn’t give it your all knowing that the other person did.
I saw Vince Gill in college with my friend that I was secretly in love with & he kissed me for the first time that night. We went our separate ways not long after and I never really got over him. Twenty years later I heard from him, he said he always thought of me when he heard VG and didn’t let his kids touch his Vince Gill CD because he always remembered me holding it all excited when we bought it.
