Yeah, this lens is way better than anyone could ask for, at the price point.
The lens is absolutely awesome, I really don't define flaring and sunstars to be anything remotely close to detering me from purchasing. We don't buy lenses to point at the sun... The price to quality is absolutely amazing and you can't beat it. Viltrox is giving us extremely close to gmaster quality comparison at a fraction of the price. and Video is amazing! PERFECT focal length for several genres of photography as well as what I do for real estate both photo and video. Totally worth purchasing!

Would you recommend this lens for an apsc camera? How far does the subject need to be from the camera for a talking head type videos?

I just watched a video on it... Don't get it... it sucks BIG TIME compared to this. Focus breathing/hunting like crazy ... typical tamron lol. THIS lens he mentioned though I'm about to snag it now actually.
Viltrox is the only Chinese co that is killing the lenses (lately).
