I love it how they criticize Arteta’s team selections as if they have a good enough squad... moan about Martinelli not being in the starting lineup as if he is some Mappe or Messi lol. Him not taking off Dani is what did it for me! How can you not see that he needs to be removed? Even someone with absolutely no knowledge of the game could see it! We played one game without striker this season and we lost. I believe it was Willian who played upfront against Wolves at home and it was abysmal just like today.

With the injuries we have, i don’t understand how we don’t play 343 with mari/holding/chambers at the back, saka/cedric at wingbacks with partey and xhaka in the middle with pepe/auba/martinelli. This was a game where we should use a formation that we’ve played before and won the FA cup

This is just what we have to work with let’s be real. I would rather live with growing pains of gabriel/dino/salina than the crap that we already know of sokratis/mustafi/holding/chambers that arteta keeps trotting out

That team selection was diabolical. Mikel has no clue what he’s doing. He played a CM and a CB as our fullbacks, played the slowest possible back 4 he could pick, played an obviously unfit Ødegaard, and played a midfielder as a false 9 whilst there were strikers sitting on the bench. Absolutely ridiculous. At any other club, he’d be sacked.

In all the training clips that Arsenal release they are training in scrimmage size pitch. Does Arsenal train on a full size pitch?

We have struggled at home all season in PL and EL!

Saka has to play at left back unless Tierney is available.We have other options up front in wide positions like Martinelli and Aubameyang.This also allows Xhaka to play alongside Partey which is where he plays best.

It's the best time to get a new coach and new owners before we loose our academy graduates

I was actually surprised we didn't get a draw at least outta this game. Villarreal don't have the quality to go 90mins ,they always gas out. We even looked better with a man down. Our quality,raw pace and power will get us through next week... Villarreal love low paced games and we played right into their hands. Next week,we won't play this crap and we'd blow them away....even Unai knows that,watch his press, Mr Emery is worried.

I remember going to vilareal with them having the argentine mistro riquelme and making easy work of them how far we've fallen I want my old arsenal back pls.

Arteta has the potential to perhaps be a great manager in 5 or 10 years time. Kroenke won't want him then, because he'll be able to demand a high salary. But for now, being an apprentice manager, he's cheap, and Kroenke loves anything cheap. The underlying problem is that Kroenke measures success by the balance sheet, not by the scoreboard, and that lack of sporting ambition pervades the whole men's team.
