The lizard would’ve been a scary villain in Spider-Man 4 if it wasn’t cancelled because Sam Raimi is a horror Director and he made that scene where Dock Ock kills those doctors at the hospital and it looked like something out a horror film.

the raimi design for electro is the best way to portray the character in my opinion. A modern and more sci-fi-accurate take on the goofy costume seen in comics. I couldn't get over the fact that they chose a similar design in Spectacular Spider-Man

CONTROVERSIAL OPINION ALERT!! I think Spider-Man 3 was really good for the hand it was dealt. Since the movie was always going to deal with forgiveness, I think the symbyote was critical in teaching spider to forgive himself, to later forgive Sand Man and Harry, then move on

@@kingbasti23 It would have been pretty cool if there was a cliffhanger at the end of the symbiote attaching to Eddie. They should have saved him a future film. I know the director didnt even want venom in it in the first place

Breaks my heart that Spider-Man 4 didn’t become a thing.

I have a theory that the vulture design we see in spider-man web of shadows was a simler look that he would of had in Spider-man 4.

The vulturess was actually just a rumor from someone else. Sam Raimi said that Felicia would be Black Cat in Spider-Man 4.

I have always wanted to be able to read a draft of the script for Spider-man 2 that had Black Cat and Lizard in it. At least to see if it was as bloated as Spider-man 3. It feels like the filmmakers went against their own better judgment on the third movie.

I would have loved to see a version of Electro created by Raimi but what made me dream the most at the time was to imagine a confrontation between the Scorpion and the Spiderman of Raimi.

The would be Vulture story in Spider-Man 3. Would have been awesome. I don't know if this is a real unused villian desighn. But there was the Hobgoblin mask. The silver one seen in Spider-Man 3. For a future movie. And I remember Electro being very influenced to be in Spider-Man 5, those designs could have been for that movie. If ever made.

That Mysterio Design of the toy is from The Spider-Man 2 game, their version of Mysterio not the studio one unless it was the plan and that's why they made a figure

I actually have a book that goes deep into the making of Spider-Man 2 and it has a lot of major concept art

I would have loved to see that lizard. honestly, I hate the lizard design from TASM.

I’m just thankful for Marvel and Sony willing to work together to give us the trilogy especially No Way Home which is basically a sequel/finale to every single Spider-Man we’ve ever seen on the big screen. Homecoming basically making up for the vulture being cut for what we got in Spider-Man 3, far from home giving us what raimi was building up to with mysterio with Ash cameoing in all three raimi films then no way home completely redeeming Andrews Spider-Man along with Electro. Just so thankful to be treated so well as a fan who grew up with raimis Spider-Man then disappointed in amazing Spider-Man but absolutely loving the second suit while also feeling bad for Andrew as he is such an amazing actor which he’s proven after the Spider-Man films but then being alive to see Sony play nice with marvel to give us the MCU Spider-Man teaming up with the avengers and now with the previous spidermen.

If Vulture was in Spider-Man 3, that would’ve been a better film. And speaking of the Lizard, today is the 6th anniversary of The Amazing Spider-Man film 🎉

@@eliasmejia7862 i highly doudt considering sam rami didn't like the idea of venom which is why he was so against putting him in the third movie but the producers wanted him to since venom at the time was really popular so i dont think he would had put carnage in and even if he was able to do more movies with spider man after the third movie considering how people recieved it he probaly wont do a single thing with venom or carnage or any symbiote.

I wish Spider-Man 3 stuck with the Sandman and Vulture

in spiderman 3 you can see a guy with the shockers top but the gloves were cut of so may bye spiderman beat Shocker off screen and that why he was in the game

Some people found a beta of the cancelled video game which had concept art of Vulture, Vermin, and I think the Rhino. I don't know if it's legit or not though because the plot of the game sounds different to the movie

i don't think the Spider-man 2 Game's black cat design would've been in Spider-man 4 because it's too much for kids

Spider-Man 1 (2002) was originally going to have two villains. Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) as the main antagonist just like the final product and Doctor Octopus as the secondary antagonist.

That would have been a surprise if some of the characters were to join the franchise moments here.

Least we know that the raimi universe is part of the spider verse annnd thats enough 🙂

I put my back out every once and a while, the last time it happened i decided to make Spider-man 2 my putting my back out film cause of the 'Im back/My back' scene. The most recemt time like 2 weeks ago, i watched 1 and 2 with the dvd extras. I probably heard it before because i owned the dvds as a kid but I honestlly dont remember that Doc Ock was originally in 1.

I like how in some concept artbof Vulture they look to follow the same design philosophy as Doctor Octopus; *Rustic and menacing*

I watched TASM2 2 days ago for the first time, it was alright but the ending was pretty bad.

The Lizard did appear in the Spider-Man 2 game for the Gameboy Advance and N-Gage though and he was in the E3 trailer for the game

From what I know, lizard would have been the villain of spider man 5. And they would’ve filmed spider man 5 and 6 back-to-back and spider man 6 was gonna be the final movie but no details are known about spider man 6

If I remember correctly there was a Lizard figure in the Spider-Man 3 merchandise, I have one so I’m assuming it was the final design of used

Somewhere in the spider-verse these decisions were made

I would've loved to see the lizard the most out of these

I really wish the studio allowed raimi to do what he wanted to with the third film but as badly as I wish the raimi films continued I am very happy the way things played out with No Way Home truly giving us fans everything we could possibly wish for in seeing all spidermen in one film and now we get to see raimi back with marvel for doctor strange which seems like a much better fit of a hero for him given his acumen in being more into the fantastical and horror genres.

The black cat art at the end looks a lot like Angelina Jolie especially in the art where it’s her in a crowd of walking people looking back at us at +7:35 which makes me wonder if she was ever heavily considered for a role in the raimi films as I could see her as an amazing black cat back then

@Colonel List Grüber Oh thanks. To explain it: My depiction of Spider-Man 3 would be loosely based on *The Alien Costume Saga* from the Spider-Man comics. And it would basically be a two-part, S.H.I.E.L.D. versus Sinister Six threequel where Spidey gets his Black Suit and Nick Fury offers his recruitment to help defeat the Six and Peter declines his help thinking he can handle his own due to his pompous ego, but later has no choice to team up, because Doc Ock discovers the Suit's weakness of sound, so Peter gathers his allies and enemy-turned-allies (including Harry) to do a 6-on-6 NYC showdown. And the film ends with Spidey killing Goblin Jr. indirectly from the suit gaining full chaotic-control of Peter (making him lose his mind) and the teammates fighting Black-Suited Spidey, but Mr. Fantastic wins the fight by also discovering the suit's weakness and the Symbiote falls off and vanishes which eventually finds Eddie Brock, thus a new chapter begins. And Spider-Man 4 would not only be a fourquel, but also a two-part, live-action adaptation to the fourteen-part *Maximum Carnage* comics. (Spoiler: Demogoblin drops Gwen from a tall building...)
