Its funny that everyone, including the other players, always underestimates scar, because he is often silly and clumsy. But he is consistently good at the game and if you look at how he placed in the life series he's consistently pretty high. Almost always in the upper half.

@@negspirito Grian was definitely the villain of 3rd Life, he was using Scar as a weapon and tried to build a monopoly the whole time. Ren was more of an anti hero. I do agree that Last Life was pretty villain free though, the real villain in that series was whoever was boogeyman at the moment.

I guess the closest last life had to a ‘villain’ was Joel? He certainly was the main antagonist as him and Grian caused major Havoc in the last 2 sessions. I’m not 100% sure if he’s as villainous but he’s certainly the most ‘antagonistic’ in last life.

The villain for 3L really depends on the pov imo. But since history is written by the winners, Ren and Martyn are left as the villains, while Joel gets crowned the villain of LL

The way Scar ender pearled into Etho with his sword to finish him was honestly ruthless, and I *love* the way it's animated here! Amazing work!

It is my personal opinion that when Scar won secret life, he should’ve clicked “re-roll for harder task”

is it just me or has the train of life winners slowly getting more and more *intense* grian and scott had bitter wins, then it was pearl being unhinged, then martyn being so hungry for time that he didn't even duel honourably to the death and finally scar is just well, scar. he's killed like half of the server

@@theoreticallyabear2111 which is interesting considering desert duo, martyn is a previous winner and was known for being insane/dangerous at the end + listeners, joel and scar based together in last life i believe, and bdubs and scar based together in limited life so uh... im reading this as scar was very very strategic with who he stayed loyal to, implying that in the lore he remembered the other series and wanted to protect them to some degree

Know that I think about it, Scar’s situation/win in Secret Life felt a lot like Pearl’s situation in Double life, they were both abandoned or treated like a villain by the people around them, they ended up being alone but also were able to slightly ally up (That is not a phrase and I know it) by the end of there series. Coincidence? I THINK NOT (Also these were my random 5AM thoughts)

I never realized just HOW unhinged Scar sounded until this animatic. I mean, the line "He sound like a wounded animal... Let's put him out of his misery," was just... Wow. You did a phenomenal job, that's certain.

Actually what's worse than that one is the very last episode begins with Scar vowing to kill Skizz and Tango and then saying...well if not kill them...then maybe maime them and watch them die in a corner. I literally found myself shouting....Scar?! at my screen in surprise, but at the same time, so proud lol

Oooooooh the addition of actual dialogue is SO GOOD. Scar's Secret Life arc is one of the best in the entire Life Series This is incredible

At 1:18 The "This episode we are going to make friends, also I am now the villain of the server" Gave a great imbodiment of how this season went. The animation was so good there!

I love how the purple shows villainy and then at the end how the secret keeper turns purple. Its a great way to show how the keeper was the real villain.

Scar brutally stabbing Cleo over and over again is such a good interpretation of what happened. Great animation!

What a great story paired with a great animation and song. Scar wants to be good, forced to be evil, unwillingly losing friends, but slowly builds to embrace it. I’m so glad he won. They could make a movie out of this

Its hard to wrap my head around how skilled scar has become, like he has been unhinged before, but this time he didnt trip on his own shoes or blow his own trap- he was a real menace. Imagine slmeone sent this video back in time to before secret life, it would have been unfathomable.

This makes Scar SOOOO unhinged and crazy, I love it!! The voice layering and everything! It’s amazing!!!

When compared to massive animators and artists like Everen, Rusty Courage, Noxlotle, or Cherrifire, it is EXTREMELY easy to overlook the smaller creators. But man can these “smaller” creators slap. This is easily one of the best pieces of art in the fandom. The song fits like a jigsaw piece to the story, and I would have never thought of mixing in audio from Scar’s series. It tells the story in a way that few animators could. Not only is the audio good, can we talk about the art? It is AMAZING!!! I could tell what’s happening from a glance, and I love the little flash of devil horns and tail when Scar kills. And the eyes when he gets tasks, incredible. You can tell I like this, can’t ya?

THIS LOOKS AMAZING ALREADY 🤩 Can’t believe we have to wait *2 DAYS AND 5 HOURS*

After watching this ive realized that the only way to win a life series is to be the villain, think about it, everyone that won went insane ex. pearl, scar, and martin. The majority of winners have all in the end become the villain.

Only Grian stayed loyal until the end, when he won. When Grian won, it was with an understanding that no matter how things turned out, they had *both* won. When Grian won, it was an honorable duel, and if he was perhaps a villain to some of the others... Grian, and as far as I can tell Grian alone of the winners, never turned on his allies. (I only watched Grian's POV of the Life serieses before Secret Life, though, so tell me if I'm missing something.)

This has gone full circle from the first animatic being another scar centred life series animatic and somehow you have managed to pull of another great artwork!!!

I loved seeing unhinged scar and also the way you animated scar when saying “I just want to get unhinged”(1:13) and just scar in general just gave me chills in the best of ways

This is beautiful. I love how you incorporated audio from his episodes. it really helped portray his villain arc, from episode 1 to the very end of the season.

Okay. Whoa. I'm saving this. You captured Secret Life Scar PERFECTLY. Everyone always tries to make him the victim, "The Secret Keeper MADE him be a bad guy! He had no choice!" But no, Scar was unhinged and he KNEW it. And he LIKED it. Sure, the Secret Keeper pointed him in that direction, but he's the one who followed. I think that the reason we never see Scar die, is because everyone else chose death, full of guilt and regret for all they had done. But Scar? This was his victory. Every villain wants to rule the world, and now look! Scar has everything he could ever want! This was his goal all along! Anyways, that was a tangent. But this encapsulates Scar's character PERFECTLY, and I will be sharing it with people so that they can see it too. Thank you so so much for this.

The first thirty maybe twenty seconds feels rough and a little forced but then the rest is absolutely beautiful. I was practically smiling my way through the whole thing. The song fits Scars journey through secret life so well. At 0:45 when he’s talking to Pearl, Impulse and Skizz and everything just pauses for Scar as he realises what he has to do is great I love it. And then like after that the animation just keeps ramping up in intensity and epicness and just YES, I LOVE IT. Here have a gold star 🌟

The way you portrayed his evil laughter (not to mention Scar's laugh already sounds unhinged) is spectacular. And that stabby stabby Cleo kill. And those shots of dead bodies that he killed. And that bit where he turned to realise the TNT that Skizz left. AND SKIZZ WITH AN EYEPATCH WHICH I LOVE FOR SOME REASONS. And the way you did him killing Tango (that nudging off the bit of dirt) and Etho (the motion in that was so good). This animatic is super fun to watchh!!! Thanks for doing it and sharing!!!

I love how we can see him regretting doing things during the start but then him slowly enjoying the chaos and fully embracing the villain side of himself. The frames which we see him looking straight at the viewer with a smile kinda gives off the vibe that he doesn't feel sorry for what hes doing anymore, and it's not because he's gone crazy. He's knows fully that what hes doing is evil. Overall, AHHHHHHHHHH THIS IS AMAZING I LOVE IT AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Oh god, I've rewatched this thing so many times, it's amazing! Here are some pretty cool details I liked: - Secret keeper's eyes watch over Scar and flash across the screen at multiple parts of the video. They appear as soon as 0:18, before any secret taks were even given, which is just. painful. - I love how he is sandwiched between Lizzie and Mumbo as well, very ironic - I like how purple is used to signify the Secret Keeper's influence over Scar, telling us that none of what he's doing is of his own free will... at least initially - The horns\eyes appear before he kills the cows (he was smiling contently before Lizzie jinxed it), and before he takes away Skizz's heart (he was getting ready to give his heart away but realized that he can't) - The way Scar looks at his bloody hands at 0:39... oof - Chibi Big Dogs at 1:01 looking cute and absolutely terrified of Scar's manic laughter lmao - Scar's expression when he says "I just want to get unhinged" at 1:11 does something to me. Also, I looove how the aspect ratio changes at that moment, signifying Scar's acceptance of the Villain role he's been assigned. - I want to take all the chibi Scars from 1:14-1:18 and 1:24-1:27 and keep them in my pocket. So devilishly cute!!! Aaaah! - 1:25 all the previous seasons flashbacks yeaaaah - 1:27 the running frames are so nice! Also, Pearl took Scar's first life.... That's.... :) nice :) - That one expression that appears for one frame at 1:41 as scar says "no friends" is just OUCH. Also I love how we hear no explosion during his second death, we only see the heart explode with the sound of the piano high note. Haunting. I love it. - 1:49 cryptid Scar - 1:59 that whole frame with Scott's hands, Tango lying in his own pool of blood and Scar looming menancingly above them all... oof x2 - 2:06 stickman Scar - 2:16 His blank stare as he stabs Cleo to death... Jesus.... also the horns and eyes appear again at 2:18! This might be my favourite frame from the entire video - I burst out laughing when I saw how short Grian is at 2:21 LMAO also Scar's evil smirk, once again, does something to me - 2:31 "Scar sends his regards" written in blood either implies that Skizz wrote that as he was dying or that Joel wrote it after he killed Skizz and honestly I don't know which one is More Messed Up. (that is a compliment) - 2:33... are those wolves... EATING BigB??? - This is now my new favourite song YOU SLAYED WITH THIS ANIMATIC, I HOPE YOU KEEP GOING

"Stickmin Scar" - it was the storyboard and I was too focused on Etho that I forgot to actually draw Scar 🤡 Anyways tysm for noticing the details 💚💛♥️

This is literally so cool and amazing.

Scar is interesting in that he always gives of this feeling of Being new to a game, in an endearing "I want to protect and coddle this man" kind of way... right up until he's not thinking about what he's doing. Then he's the giga-chad of the game. Somehow. Pro-sniper, expert water bucket user, utterly uncanny luck in PvP. This man would give the likes of Dream and Technoblade a run for their money if he ran through a challenge with nothing but instinct, and it terrifies me.
