This is a great balance between the two extremes that Life series animations normally fall into - incredible fun or full on Shakespearean tragedies. Each scene is treated with a certain level of seriousness, but the characters still have such a pumped-up energy. Not to mention the artwork itself, which is crisp, dynamic, and so full of detail! And it's clear who's who in each scene, even if I never watched or don't remember EVERY event. Hat's off!

ALL OF THIS IS SO AMAZING!! I really don't have time to rant about how much I love this rn, but since you asked so nicely lol I do wanna to draw attention to my favourite thing I noticed throughout the video which was your use of the foreground and cinematic camera angles. As someone who is studying film making & cinematography I really admire (nerded out over to my brother lmao) how much effort you put into this, for example your use of motivated camera movement in the transition with etho at 0:13 and many more places throughout the animatic such as 0:35 with lizzy And i cannot express how much i love your composition, like at 0:40 when tango hit the wall. That has to be one of my favourite overall scenes. (No1 favourite scene has to be 1:32 tho lol) But also I love how you placed Pearl at 1:27 and directly after the scene with BigB and using a low angle shot after his high angle which really added to the impact. And when the bad boys fell out of the sky lmao Andddd how you shifted the focus from the foreground to the subject (bow, to scar) at 1:56 and in other places tooo like 1:22 AND your use of two shots (and also insert shots), like when he placed his hand on the hilt of his sword at 0:20 or 0:28 Not to mention the mannyyyyy more incredible uses of cinematography throughout the video and how amazing you actual drawing skills are in general (kudos to the thumbnail art mhmhm) and how smooth and natural all of your movements are!! Like how they draw weapons from their inventory or just the clothes blowing in the wind has me in awe. And the sword fight at 0:54 is so amazing! (Had to get a notable mention) But also the underwater scenes actually feel underwater, which is so awesome I can say with the utmost certainty that this is a _masterpiece!_ All of this is incredible!! You did such an amazing job!! Can't believe i wasn't subbed already but i am nowwww :D

I literally had to slow down the video to examine each scene, it's so good. I absolutely lost it at Etho sprinting away full speed, Rens face to being shoved back, Cleos resignation to everything. Literally every single one is so funny, I watched this part over and over and the devolve from chill to sheer chaos and panic in just three frames is top tier lmao

my favorite part is legit just that they all look like they're having fun xD i feel like fan stuff for the life series gets a little too dark with it (which can be fun sometimes! don't get me wrong!) but it's so pleasing to see the characters all look like they're playing a game! and having fun! even with some serious moments. It feels very true to the actual series.

I feel like most of that comes from martyns lore stuff. In his lore these are death games that they are trapped in that Character Grian is trying to get them out of. But I do agree that the lighter approach is nice to see. Especially because of how light-hearted and chaotic the players are.

When they showed all the winners, I loved how in the background were memories of the SMP they won in like Grain had the cactus and the sapling and Scott had the axolotl and the potions and Pearl had Tilly and a photo of her tower and Martyn had his hourglass and coral I realised in everyone of them there’s the weapon they used to get their win, their base and an object/animal that played a big part in their POV, the detail is so amazing it’s unbelievable 2:12

This is so incredibly well done! Even down to which bits of each series you selected to go with the music. So many details that are amazing, but I think that your depiction of Ren as the unhinged bloodthirsty Red King, and the shot of Jimmy accidentally touching and detonating the TNT minecarts are probably my favorite. Absolutely nailed their expressions and tensions. And, of course, as usual, your Tango animation is peerless, duh.

This is indeed top tier and i havnt even watched any of it, hoping to get into it with Secret Life. I just wanna point out that through all the action scenes, NONE of them have Mumbo. does he just not get into battle? or were none of his scenes good enough?

​@@penguin_reader_yt9510 Yeah no, he didn't do much battling in the series he was in, which was Last Life. The main things he did were that he was the first (And so far only) person in the Life Series to craft and use end crystals, he killed Bdubs with one as the boogeyman, he and Grian had a dramatic standoff when Grian turned red, and then Grian killed him after killing Jimmy because Mumbo tried to avenge him. I just think he didn't get many chances for a fight scene because he died second, but maybe he'll get more chances in Secret Life :)

2:10 I love that. Their expressions being so serious/grim is such a good contrast. The amount of emotion and the fact that they all looks like they’ve been fighting really highlights the hunger games kinda feel that the series has undertones of. I think it really represents that aspect of the more lore/roleplay side of it all and the expressions are so in character. I’ve found a lot of the winner art/animatics don’t have such vivid facial expressions so this is really cool to see drawn! It’s also so fun to try and figure out all the scenes and where/when they’re from. Such a good animatic! All the little details are so cool too.

I love how this fandom as a whole has just adopted Bang as the theme song

YO, THIS IS AMAZING NOX!!!!! The transitions and the correspondence between the music is absolutely INSANE!!! WELL DONE!!!

This might be the greatest fan-creation for the life series I’ve ever seen.

It's a small part of the animatic but the way you draw the warden is my favorite representation of the mob I have ever seen.

Scott’s face in the final frame of everyone together has no right being such a mood

This absolutely needs to be seen by all the members! Its so well done! Its ridiculously detailed in a very good way! The expression, the composition of each scenes, its so lively and action-packed! You deserve more attention!

Have already replayed this entire thing frame by frame and I'm in love with every single piece of it. Lost my mind a little at the last three images though, they tell such an adorable lil story! Bdubs just absolutely clueless off to the side, Scott and Pearl both having a really just chill "fine I'll be in the picture" energy, Scar annoying Grian, Martyn pushing Ren out of the way, Cleo resigned to her fate, Tango just fully tackling Impulse, Etho being the ONLY one to notice the TNT in time, it's just so perfect! Beautifully done, I could go on for ages on all the details in other scenes, but I won't. Yes I will. Just a little bit. Listen I tried to send this as it was but I'm just bursting at the seams with excitement okay? Things that filled me with impossible amounts of joy: - Scott being all proud of his lil house! - Tango's hair! - All of the impeccable fight choreography! - The strings snapping on the TNT trap! - Scar having no shirt true to canon lol - The contrast at 1:02 of Scott's "oh no" face and Grian's "oh YES" face! - Mumbo with an end crystal, could he look any cooler?! - The wither heads moving in time with the lyrics of the song going "bang bang bang" was so fun XD - The whole warden sequence, it's so goood! - Tango and Jimmy just chilling on the line "I'm up to something" - Etho sensing a disturbance in the force lol - The birds flying away and the trees rustling to alert the other members - The warden's glowing chest in the darkness!!!! - Jimmy and Tango tripping over themselves while running away grinning like the lil gremlins they are was like my favorite moment of the entire AMV - The Bad Boys falling from the sky, and Grian's respective panic when he first comes into view lolllll - Ren reflected in Martyn's axe! - I may have lost it a lil at the faces when the desert exploded, it was far more true to canon than we like to acknowledge lol - The winners' sequence with all its little details like the changing outfits and symbols in the background! - And of course, the stunning thumbnail art, it's so beautifully done! Ok im done ranting you've done awesome that is all

i love the fact that when the tnt blows in the end everyone is scared but scar just smiles, you really caught his personality.

1:33 The warden is so cool! And the ominous build up in tension with the birds all flying way was such a great idea.

I like how Grian just looks like a adorable cinnamon bun for most of the video except when it shows all the life series winners where it depicts him brutally punching scar to death

it's such a small moment that i just noticed after multiple rewatches but i love that etho disappears in the last frame at 2:24 (well, his foot is still there). Idk it feels like he doesn't tend to get a lot of cool lore interpretations so even just seeing something as small as "he's a ninja so he go zyoom" is fun to see depicted

Oh my gosh, this is wonderful. The designs, the fluidity, the movements, the WARDEN there’s so much beauty in this I cannot stress it enough . Everything’s so CLEAN!! You must know just how amazing this is, your 6 months of effort isn’t at all in vain. Your art has blessed both this community and my crusty eyeballs. I really hope this blows up, it deserves to. Ps. This is the best animatic I have ever seen on KZread!! Literally every scene is so well animated and drawn, the fight scenes are so fluid and dynamic and the perspectives used are out of this world!! This must have taken such an incredibly long time to do, I must imagine, with how absolutely breathtaking this entire thing is. The character designs, as well, are amazing. Absolutely fantastic!!! I hope the entire cast sees this.

The part I liked???? It never stopped! This is INSANE. Somehow every scene felt like a fresh take on the content, even if I'd seen it before. The movement was impeccable. Not overly gory but without flinching from it. The facial expressions, the FIGHT SCENES! The beautiful painting on small details like the Warden, something so full and different from the characters, the heartbeat in the dark. Just enough time to place a scene before the action happened, but it never dragged! I am begging you. On my hands and knees. For a director's commentary for this. Please. I'll write a whole 5 page MLA essay to earn it.

I really love everything about this, the part with Tango and Jimmy luring out the warden, the bad boys falling, so many great clips, but a moment I went back and re-watched a few times was when Ren's sunglasses flew off his face at 1:52 that was so good lol

THREE MINUTES AGO? AHHH THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! I HAVE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS BUT I LOVED IT!!! And I have no doubt I’ll be watching it 100 times to find details I missed 0:55 OH. MY. GOSH. ALREADY FINDING TINY DETAILS! Pearl having crescent moons in her eyes!!! It’s in literally that second and I almost didn’t catch it but I somehow paused at the right time 1:21 ok, can we just talk about this moment for a second? CAN WE APPRECIATE HOW AMAZING IT IS? It was so suspenseful even though I knew what would happen, and it was animated INCREDIBLY!

I love the detail in the image of Grian beating Scar to death. It really sets the epic tone and seriousness of the moment. Also Pearl's shocked and hurt expression, which shows her reaction to Scott dying amongst her own victory.

I got to give so much props to you; the facial expressions of everyone is just *chef's kiss*. I kept replaying Skizzleman's face when the explosion scared him from behind🤣🤣

I haven't been so jawdropped by a mcyt fanwork's scope, creativity, posing, animation, and sheer fucking talent on display since Sadist's dsmp animations first dropped. Unbelievable work, this is the kind of mission success that genuinely would keep me going for a lifetime- I hope you're super, super proud of yourself because, wow. Absolutely, unimaginably, stunning

2:05 the way you had pearl standing alone, bathing in the moonlight was honestly really well executed, portraying how she was alone for the most part so many more parts that were amazing that i wanna talk about (but have no time to type rn lol) but this is truly an amazing amv, you have outdone yourself with this one!!

I love Etho at the end, jumping out of frame as the bomb drops. XD And that whole sequence with the Warden and the building unease.

I love the flame effect for Tango's hair as well as everything, looks great and appropriate for the group.

If I had a nickel for every time there was an absolute BANGer of a Life Series animatic with this song, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s SICK that it happened twice! Fantastic work!!!

This video was an absolute masterpiece. I am impressed more and more every time i hit that restart button The more I watch this, i think a live adaptation of at least one of the seasons would be sick af

The micro story in the three coloured drawings at the end is just the cherry on top of this masterpiece. The change from the first to second alone tells so much about the character relationships. And after watching it like five times, I am still not sure whether Etho dropped the TNT or just saw it and dipped in the third, but either way is so funny! Thank you for putting so much work into this, watching this is honestly addictive (Tinestamps: 2:23 first drawing 2:23 second 2:24 third)

My emotions while watching this and reminiscing of these awesome series 😂 0:53 THE BAD BOYS!!! 1:04 I remember this moment, it was the best, Grian’s reaction when they fell for his trap was the absolute best 1:56 I DIED LAUGHING SO HARD WHEN THEY KILLED THE WARDEN WITH A FISHING ROD 🤣🤣🤣

Cleo looks so done and dissapoited when the TNT drop is happening in the fullcoloured one is just funny to me.

Some parts I want to highlight! 0:08 Martyn with the eyes his expression is just *mwah* perfect 0:13 The movement in this is INSANE 0:34 ough the spin into the forest burning down is so crisp even though it is used alot in animatics this feels so fresh and intricate + 0:38 THE FIRE IS SO WELL ANIMATED HELLO OMG 0:50 The explosions are so natural and synced to the music its just 👌 0:52 The expressions are so good here you really captured the excitement! :O 0:53 THE MOTION IN THIS FIGHT SCENE IS INSANE! 1:03 Grian in the classic arms out wilbur position goes crazy here + I love seeing the panels with Martyn Ren and Skizz reaction 1:10 ough I love me some Renchanting the guys are so good here I love your designs for them 1:13 The way he looks back smiles then lunges is so crisp and well animated I love this so so much 1:15 I actually gasped out loud. The way you draw expressions and movement is so real and you can convey emotions so well. Your a HUGE inspiration for me and I can only see your work getting better and better from here. This is a crazy project but hopefully worth all the effort you put in. I am going to be staring at this for the next 12 years.

I cannot get over the movements at 1:34 just wow!

Can't stop coming back to watch this. I don't think I could count the amount of times I've seen this since it was released! All the details are too good

my three favourite things combined: ajr, life series and INSANELY GOOD ANIMATICS!!!

I absolutely love this! It is awesome! Your designs for each or the members, and how those designs change between series is just awesome! I think my favourite moment has to be Ren at ~1:10 doing the "bring it" gesture. It is cocky, but confident, which just encompasses Ren's entire vibe! I love it! The subtle look back at Martyn before he lunges is amazing attention to detail too! Its a look of confirmation, but also reassurance, like a "we got this" look. I adore it!

Don't mind me, I'm just gonna rewatch this over and over just to see all the wonderful details you put in

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! ridiculously good like HELLO???? the way all of the shots just flow together so naturally despite them from being from different seasons shows how well thought out this is!!!

IVE WATCHED THIS SO MANY TIMES, looking over and just spotting all of the details and remembering all of the moments. the scene with tango and the projectiles thrown at the walls and god. the sword fight with the girls ,,,, i loved the ending with the winners and how scotts sacrifice and pearl reaching for him cuts in with the rest of the winners ,,,, that is one of my favorite endings ever and just. the end bit with everyone together too how they interact and etho just JOLTING out of frame,,,, in general i love the etho in this animatic spesifically with him jumping around at the start,,,, the scene with lizzies fairy foresy. EVERYTHING ! this is so well done and i am in awe and im sorry for a prolonged comment but :]

My favorite thing about this animation is how much fun everyone looks like they're having in it. I've watched this like a million times since I discovered it just a few days ago. It's so good!

Update: Just finished the 4 series from Grian's point of view featured here and this is the best thing I've ever seen. I saw you're self taught - I am too, but I'm still animating my first actual serious thing, soo.. Anyway, this is awesome. And now I love the Life series, so, win win for me!

I keep rewatching this because those animation moves on the beats are just so glorious. The eyes, the expressions--shivers

The little details are so good definitely worth the 6-7 months I can’t stop watching this, so many flashbacks to the series, all I can say is that this is exquisite which is a big word for me considering I don’t have any vocabulary but I must say it
