Wow, Such a hard life back then. We are so lucky to have been born in the mid 1900's. How you live in that cold weather is beyond me. I live in Australia and snow is usually seen only in the Eastern States of Australia in Winter.

Though not born that way, I grew to love having 4 REAL seasons. But in all fairness, winter in the southern Alpes is short, beautiful and very sunny.
