Villa Arrigoni degli Oddo is located in the municipality of Monselice, in Cà Oddo. It stands on the remains of an ancient castle of the noble Oddo family and has been renovated several times until its current configuration dating back to the 18th century. Connected to the villa, on the street front, is the Oratory of St John the Baptist. The building and a vast park of Mediterranean plants are surrounded by a high wall. The villa was the residence of Ettore Arrigoni degli Oddo (1867-1942), professor of geology at the #University of #Padova, famous ornithologist and member of the #Italian Parliament until 1821.
