The Vikings offense was maddening. 3rd and 4 from the 8 and they do a qb draw with a qb who can't run?

That year was the start of it. Fuad retired after the '95 season

Scott Sisson missed a LOT of kicks for the Vikes. Man I hated watching him go up to kick.

Missin' Sisson vs Cole Ford. That might legitimately be one of the worst FG kicking battles of all time. Ford was complete garbage.

The 70's was easily the best decade for The Vikings...

mikesteelheart both the Vikings and Raiders were dominant in the 70’s. Despite only 1 super bowl win amongst the two teams.

Brad Johnson wasn't as bad as some made him out to be. He was capable of big games and wins.

A pretty atrocious game! John Randle with the back-to-back sacks to quell Hostetler's chance at a fiery denouement in regulation was pretty amazing, though.

these are hands down the best uniforms in vikings history the logo on the sleeves were bad ass. 70's 80's and early 90's were great as well but the change the wilf's made when they bought the team were horrible thankfully they got rid of them. i like todays helmets but not a huge fan of the "artistic sail" numbers. jmo

Does anyone remember the Raiders game when Johnny Randle threw a lineman in the backfield on 4th and goal for the sack and win? Am I remembering correctly? I can't think of Raider lineman's name, it was Kevin something. Their #1 pick? Huge dude. I would like to see highlights of that game.

It was only one of two national TV blackouts from Oakland. The other was a Saturday afternoon game against the Chiefs on CBS in 1998.
