للاسف قام الكاتب بتزييف القصه ،في الحقيقة قد مُسح الفايكنج تحت ارجل المسلمين والعرب ،حتا توسلوا للذهاب والعوده بعد ان احرقت سفنهم، معركة الفايكنج انتصر فيها المسلمون بكل يُسر، حتى ان الاغلبيه لايعرفونها حالياً، لعدم اهميتها

Actually, the Vikings had the upper hand in this situation Yes they were defeated, but the number mustered to defeat them was believed to be quite high, as the then governor of the region called in other governors "Humiliating" is quite a stretch, the Vikings terrorized the Iberian Peninsula so much that they had to upgrade every defense just to prevent further attacks

Even though this scene is far from historical reality, I love that the guy who killed the man leading the prayer doesn't even understand that he gave him exactly what every Muslim wishes for, to be granted martyrdom especially while performing prayer. In fact, the people in the Mosque weren't really trying to escape, as much as they knew they are probably going to die, therefore, they wanted their last act before death to be prayer.

It was not Córdoba, it was Sevilla. Also the vikings did not flee they all died or became prisoners. Abd Rahman II killedd most of them and the survivors became slaves, some of them became Muslims while in slavery years later.

Upon hearing verses from Chapter 20 of the Quran (Surat Taha). Omar Ibn Khattab become the 2nd rightly guided caliph or Muslim ruler, and is actually recognised for being extremely fair and just to a level than is not only unrecognisable, but many leaders can not even attain in the 21st century. Whether you come from the coldest snowlands, or live in the hottest desert environment, it goes to show that the human heart can change.

رغم التزييف ولاكن كانت لقطه جميله حين قُتل الامام تقدم الذي بعده مباشرتا دون خوف وهذا بحد ذاته مفخره للاسلام والمسلمين

This is not only this. Before Ragnar death it wasn't history but at least they tried to stick to basic points such as who won the battle, who lost the battle and who ever died, and who commanded the army. After Ragnar's death, they completely shit on the historical part. Ragnar's sons die according to when it suits them, non-existent armies and yes the results of battles are no longer decided by history but by the director.

Also the Muslims did get sacked initially in arab spain, during the first attacks becsuse they had never seen Vikings before. Also, not breaking from prayer is something very common among muslims even when there is an attack

Yeah well those are smaller group of Vikings attacking a small town called Algeciras, there shouldn’t be that much military or security in it and even if they found out the town was attacked by outsiders, they left the town shortly after so they couldn’t catch them

It’s a tV series bro and it didn’t make Muslims look weak at all. Instead of making us look like unclean violent animals it made the disbelievers look like that. Check the scene over again. The Muslims were clean cut, dressed in fine garments, had jewelry, markets and families. To die in Salat is one of the highest honors that most Muslims wouldn’t want to do. Human frailty and all that. But the Imam and everyone there was willing to die in Salat.

So amazing to see the imam was beheaded and the other guy took his place and kept praying... that's the Islamic Faith .🔥

يا الاهي على كمية الايمان والخشوع

إننا قوم أعزنا الله بالإسلام فإن إبتغينا العزة في غيره أذلنا الله.

If someone is calling us or if an activity is being done in front of us, we just have to keep praying Edit: listen brothers and sisters, this is what I was taught to never break our prayers no matter what. Floki finally finds what he has been looking for.

He didn't want to be Muslim, he just realised their passion that rivals his own for Norse gods which he empathised with and gained a sense of respect and relation. Probably related with them more than he ever did with his friends. I think killing them would've made him feel very lonely because for probably the first time he's met common folk who have fearless religious faith and passion like him.

🗣️الخلاصة: الكل يزيِّف التاريخ في الدراما، فكلُّ يزيف لصالحه، ومن اراد معرفة التأريخ سيبحث عنه خارج شاشات التلفاز.. امّا في هذا الموضع الفايكنج والمسلمين فقد حدث حقا دخل الفايكنج اشبيلة بـ53 سفينة ونهبوا الاموال وهتكوا الاعراض واشاعوا الخوف بين الناس لكن ما إن علم عبدالرحمن الثاني والي إمارة قرطبة وهي امارة صغيرة جدا في رقعة الدولة السلامية فجهز الجيش وخاض معاهم معارك ضارية استمرت قرابة 100 يوم وانتهت بهزيمة نكراء للفايكنج حيث اذاقهم المسلمون الويل واغرقوا 35 سفينة من سفنهم ولاذ بقيتهم بالفرار اذلاء، جبناء، مرغمة انوفهم بالتراب.. وهذا مذكور في جميع كتب التأريخ الاسلامي ومذكور ومعترف به لدى الغرب رغم انها تكاد تكون معركة لا تذكر مقارنة بمعارك المسلمون العظيمة ضد الدول الكبرى في شتى بقاع الارض، والنصر دائما وابدا لله ولرسوله وللمؤمنين.. ونسأل الله يوفقنا لمثل ما وفق سلفنا من ابطال الاسلام والحمدلله رب العالمين..

Well they didn’t show how the Vikings 3 days after this was slaughtered humiliated, and they ships we burned and they lost 2500 in matter of days and left almost 16 ships out of 26 and even the general was captured and begged for mercy and finally let him go.
