Ragnar was never the only attacker Calvin, it's been mentioned before that England has been constantly raided by Jarls of many different places after their first expedition.

Rollo got his happy ending. And like the Seer said, he would dance naked in the beach if he knew what the gods had in store.

Cuz if you watch at key moments Calvin and shane mouth the lines perfectly as they say them, like 4x7 when Ragnar is yelling "and this is how you repay my love" to Rollo, Calvin mouths the line. Go back and watch some of the episodes calvin and shane have seen them, thats why calvin doesn't react as much.

That's because they watch it with subtitles smartasses. Calvin mentioned it in 4x05 when Lagertha said "I am with child" to Kalf. You can also see how they are looking down to read those subtitles.

I'm pissed Shane missed this one. I'd have rather waited a week without Vikings than have Shane miss such an important episode. I wanted to see his reaction. (I understand that it's not Shane's fault for being sick in any way btw.)

I was thinking this too! Especially since Shane seems to be really into the show lol would have been really nice to watch him react to it. It'd be cool if they gave him his own reaction video for it since it's a big episode but alas :'(

floki is fr a mix between the two tho, makes sense he's the middle child

everyone is afraid of Ragnar. He's a living legend to the vikings so he still is a powerful figure to them.

And so it starts.... 4B! This half of the season is fantastic! Pleeeeeease watch the uncensored/unedited version though guys. You miss out on quite a bit when you don't.... I can't wait for you to see some upcoming scenes/episodes.

I love this episode. Every thing about this show the battle, Rolos speech, the music, when Rolo got crowned, the time jump, Bjorn and Ragnars son looking like bad asses, Floki and Bjorns conversation, and the amazing ending. In top 3 favorites.

The time jumps in the show are perfect, incredible way of introducing new characters without them actually being new. Also you already care about ragnar’s sons because they’re his, and we like him. This is exactly how the show Medici should have done time skips, instead of skipping entire generations 😂

I had a hard time liking Aslaug because I love the relationship Ragnar and Lagertha had , but you really have to respect Aslaug for raising four children on her own and being a fairly good queen for many years

junkie or not I will always love Ragnar in root for him! I mean, if you're watching the show from day one how can you not?

Don't waste time trying to count how many years have passed or things like that. This show is like a modern Norse legend, strange things just happen: visions, magic, gods, people survive impossible wounds, ships travel at high speed, Lagertha doesn't age..., don't try to look for the logic on everything. Just enjoy and accept things as they are :)

Why they always complaint about time jumps, Jesus Christ the show directors assume their viewers are smart enought to fill out the blanks. Them especially Eric want big ass bold letter on the screen telling them how long time has pass. Vikings is a show based on some Western European history, so if you guys do not have any knowledge about it just enjoy the show and don't try to go in depth with its meanings. To be honest this show reactions should be Shane, Calvin and maybe Rick. Eric doesn't have the knowledge enough like he has for GoT and Aaron just dont give a crap and plays to much.

I'd say Vikings is a solid show until SPOILERS.............................. Ragnar's death and the Great Heathen Army. I feel like the show should've just wrapped things up with the season 4 finale. Rewrite that ending, maybe make the episode a bit longer. Do a timeskip again which this show is used to. And show Bjorn or something on the throne as an old man while there's a line how his other brothers have traveled and conquered the seas/lands. End it with a heartwarming and meaningful story that Bjorn tells his grankids and the show ends after that big Heathen army battle. I feel like season 5 dropped a lot of balls. I know that Ragnar's kids all played a role in Viking history, but the actors they cast and the stories they are telling them with are lacking. Travis Fimmel was too great, Ragnar was too great to follow. Ecbert was the other main heavy hitter. You just can't replace him with Alfred. I think 4 seasons, with that longer fourth season which basically made it 5 seasons would've been a perfect length for this show. End it on a high note right after Ragnars death. Such big deaths work on a Game of Thrones because that show is more of an ensemble than Vikings ever was. Ned Stark wasn't just the main big one. You had so many different characters to pick from. So many interesting stories and actors. Vikings didn't have that. That's no problem or shame at all. They just needed to know when to stop. Season 5 is just one big mixed bag. It began with lots of potential but it went out like a fart. From Margerethe to Ivar. It's all meh to me now.

No the show takes off at this point. The next half season may be more "real" than it had been to this point. The extension of Ragnar's life to the start of raiding caused problems.

10 min of reaction is really not enough on this kind of episode , and it will be even worse for the future episodes , why they never make video in 2 parts ?

This was so stupid... Why did they just quit? =/ Why didn't they shoot at Rollo or try again? They weren't decimated completely like last time. They were gonna return but then Ragnar wanted to go after Rollo and they moved the boats for nothing... And Rollo and Ragnar just kept punching their faces, use your legs and get an axe or something. They didn't even reach Paris. They should have won with the boats. Floki's new boats for nothing. And nothing about Björn's daughter? And did Lagertha die or not? They didn't make it clear. Sometimes this show is so damn stupid and bad. 2:50 And WHAT THE FUCK was that for? =S I know Rollo is a psychopath but... There was no reason for that at all... He just asked and doubted, he could have just been told no and convinced. Why would you want one less of your army? But I love how Floki said Midgård and not Midgard.
