To see the actual structures against the Pendon scratch built ones, coupled with the changing times, informative and historical narration, facts and various renovations since the various modelers and skills were used to full advantage to capture life as it was, is truly awesome. Interesting too, how much of present day architecture is still clearly visible and how these buildings have changed, not always for the better. We can go back and see in full colour how it really was and, not just rely on old sepia tone or faded black and white stills from one or two perspectives. We can clearly see a more open, less cluttered and relaxed way of life. Pendon, being a superb way to jump back in time to this era and breath in the craftsmanship and lasting legacy it gives to all who visit. Man and nature working hand in hand ❤️. Gratitude 🙏 It really does bring home as to what it really is we’re all chasing in this ever evolving life we all lead. Putting love, pride, time and our hearts into what we do is so important and clearly on display here. Pendon is testament to that 👍

Many thanks Andy, we are really pleased that the work the Pendon team do (mainly on a voluntary basis) is appreciated so much. Even today the museum is constantly evolving with new models, new information and new experiences for friends old and new, both online and in-house to enjoy and your feedback is very much appreciated by all of us.

Filip, it is our pleasure to share these videos with you. As you say, comparing the old with the new is very special and we must be grateful that the founder of Pendon Museum, Roye England, had the determination to document and recreate in miniature so many buildings and landscapes for us to enjoy today.
