Came back to rewatch this video. I currently use an xpro2 and an xt4 purely for hobby. My main objective is to own cameras that make me enjoy the process and kinda be amazed by the results. That's why I consider the 50r very seriously. My main concern is the one you adressed - is it likely that their will be no difference? The lens I would buy along the 50r would be the 63mm f2.8, not the 50mm. But the biggest disappointment would be to get a large slow camera without dials and ergonomics that takes similar photos to my xpro2:)

@@herbertmasing the gfx50r is with all dials you want except iso dial. There will be a difrence, if you find it to a good price it holds the same re sell value..

Thank you so much for detailed reply.. I’m still stuck on what to do.. I had xt4 sold for gfx.. I love it! But thinking it might be too much for my needs.. I love the files and I unfortunately cannot unsee lol. I’m tempted to sell it and go xpro 3

XT4 and X-pro3 are basically the same camera seen to what its able to make image vise. However X-pro3 provides better experience of use considering the design and look. When I sold my GFX I did't lost any money considering that I bought it used. If you buy a used X-pro3 there's a possibility to try it out and if you want go back to GFX without losing any money.

I just jumped back into browsing through the market and man there's so much stuff... I've been shooting with a 5D mk2 which is now slowly dying so I figured it's time for an upgrade. I don't shoot video, I mostly photograph nature, landscapes and just my surroundings, usually on a tripod and with manual lenses so AF speed is not my concern, neither are ergonomics. A used GFX50s is not that super expensive, I could get a EF-GFX adapter and still use some of my lenses on it, But then there's Xpro3 which seems like a shiny gem everyone should experience. And there's Xt5 with 40mpix... plus there's a whole room of Sony cameras asking me if they're a joke to me :D Which camera in general (also outside of Fuji) would you go for in my situation?

Adaptors are sometime tricky if t they contain glad you lose quality. However adaptors without glas that have electrical connections with EF wors good on GFX. GFX also have a 35mm mode that leaves you with around 33megapixel. Have you considered a 5d mark iv? Solid camera and you can use all of your lenses. However a little bit expensive, and mirroless is just superior on manual focus. If you want to go mirrorselss Sony A7r series are nice high megapixl cameras. With some light compromises on weather seals in the past. Nature is a wide genre are you more into wide angle or tele, landscape or animals? Is size and weight something that you priotize? For nature I would not go for the xpro it's a camera mainly built for viewfinder use and extensive use of the flip out lcd might result in issues. The XT5 have a nice price, nice fuji colors, high megapixl count that might be useful for nature with crop potential, and a nice size and weight. With budget in mind the Xt3 have the same sensor as the XT4 and xpro3 just without ibis, and are the most bang for the buck fuji camera on the market. Personally I never fealt that ibis is a must have for photography. I think fuji have some handy features with the adjustments knobs in the top that are quite nice if you are looking down on the camera. Would say XT5 or GFX Medium format how ever is unique and fun to shoot with and you kind of get two in one with that 35mm mode.

@@Kim_Alexander thanks for the reply! I'm ok with weight, I';ve carried a bag with a Mamiya RB67 and 3 lenses, I have a large format camera, so GFX is tiny for me really :) I did think about A7R mk3, seems like an amazing camera, capable of everything...then again, they almost all are! I'll keep your advice in mind, thank you!

Have you considered a 5d mkiii(slight upgrade form the ii and dirt cheap right now $400-500), also the: sony a7rii / a7c? gfx or canon r5c if money isn't a concern.

@@obomasinladen I think I'll leave the DSLR world, one reason being the new sensors which produce amazing results, it really is an improvement and "the new stuff" is pleasant to work with if chosen wisely. I started looking at lens options, putting the camera aside. I fell in love with what Fuji's 16mm f/1.4 does and that steers me towards X-H2. I do love what GFX offers but I think it'd be an overkill.
