I'm happy you found the caps. I paused the video and quickly ordered one to replace a broken Iroshizuku cap.

Great episode! Cycling, cycling, cycling! Though, I enjoy bikepacking & touring, so camping will be involved as well, though I do all of this year round. Have a great week!

Hi Folks! My favorite place to be in the summer is on our patio with my main man Steve. I’m spot on with daily usage of my Daily Techo for to-do list and appointments, but failing miserably with my 5-year hobo daily entries. I’m in therapy for that. 🌞 love youse guys!

Thanks for another great APTV! As for my planners, I am about to finish up the first half of my A5 Common Planner and will start the second half on July 1st. I have kept up with daily journaling in this planner and love using it. I started a new A5 work planner as well to coincide with a new job. I am also up to date (maybe behind by 2-3 days but can catch up quickly) with my A6 five year journal - I'm halfway through the third year and loving it! Favourite summertime activity - traveling. I'll be attending two pen shows this summer (PNW and San Francisco) and also hope to travel to the Rocky Mountains twice during the summer (I live in Alberta, Canada). Thanks again!

My planner usage is sparse...but I am retired. Wonderful show. My favorite summer activity is motorcycle riding back country roads.

While I realize this may disqualify my comment from being aired, I've used the Clever Fox undated weekly planner for 2 years now and go to it almost daily. Though retired, I find myself with more things to do than when I worked as a trial lawyer. My activities now are much more spur of the moment and random, so I need a planner more than ever. The Clever Fox version works extremely well for me. As far as a favorite summer activity goes, anything with any of our 7 grandchildren, all of whom are under 11! Next, sitting in our comfortable home--my recliner, specifically--and using one of my fountain pens to make entries in my planner or my journal. This week, I'll be using the vintage Caran d'Ache Ecridor fountain pen I bought from you in May 2022 and still enjoy enormously.

Brian and Lisa, you are each uniquely qualified to do a video on how to store larger pen collections in a home. Boxes? Racks? Pen blocks? And how do you make economical choices on storage to save more for the pens?

I use my Hobonichi Cousin everyday ( I have a new April start because of a job change) and have been consistent with in the monthly, weeklies, but not so good with the dailies... I tend to use dailies for notes, work, my fountain pens & inks, as well as any back logging... I use 2 Take A Note (T-A-N) planners along with my Hobonichi Cousin, 1 T-A-N planner for personal journaling and the 2nd T-A-N planner for my astronomy/telescope learning... I also am transcribing Carl Sagan's Cosmos in days (in the 2nd Take A Note planner) that I can't get outside to log my (favorite place to be in the summer) telescope viewing and imaging of the sun, sky, planets, and stargazing nights... I always enjoy this channel and one day I would love to add a vintage pen to my fountain pen collection...

Hi Lisa and Brian! My favorite summer time activities are hiking, jogging, and taking short trips, and general maintenance and repairs to my house. There are a few concerts and festivals that happen during the summer that I try attend. I have been using my Hobonichis. I use my weeks planner as my everyday carry. I have another for my workout tracker, and home project planner/tracker. My cousins is my work calendar that sits on my desk. Stay cool and have some gelato!

Reading through the Dad jokes was so much fun! My favorite summer activity is kayaking with my dog, Didi. She enjoys visiting with people passing by in other boats. She always seems to bark her way into getting a treat from them! I use the Hobo A6 - I use this every single day and have for years.

Happy American Eagle Day! (June 20. Probably refers to the brand, but...) Roger the wingless eagle didn't let the ridicule coming from other able-bodied birds get him down. He was unflappable... Favorite thing to do during the summer. Was grilling, until my stroke. Then, sitting in the shade with a cold beverage and my elderly (b)rat terrier, Aednat. Sadly, she passed away this winter. So now it's just having a cold beverage while someone else cooks.😉 Don't journal, but I am behind on correspondence. So I'm going to try to catch up. Does that count?😁

My favorite summertime activity is taking a dip in the lake. As to the planner, I've been using a Franklin Planner for more than 20 years and although the Hobanichis are very attractive, I'm not ready to change. Thanks for another interesting episode.

Another fine show. Summer for me is a time to relax and rejuvenate for the next school year. I try not to do much but what I do includes bike rides, walking and drinking a tall glass of tea on the porch.

Thanks for another enjoyable episode. With regards to planner usage, I don't plan very well. I've tried journaling, but I have trouble establishing and maintaining the habit. I write a lot of song lyrics, so my pens get plenty of use anyway. As for my favorite summer activity, my wife and I like to get out the RV and get up into the woods. We used to spend a lot of time performing at area farmers markets, but since we realized we weren't going to make it big, we decided spending more time out in nature might be more rewarding.

I don't do much that's exciting in summer, but I do like some smaller things, like eating fresh cherries and peaches, drying laundry outside (an old fashioned "dryer" is perfect for someone who likes old fashioned fountain pens!), and growing a tomato plant in a big pot. As for planners, I don't keep one.

Another Thursday of dad jokes!!! My summer favorites are playing indoor pickleball and writing in my B6 journals. I do not use a planner, but use a B6 notebook to make lists and track activities. I imagine a planner would help, and man do I need help.

Those were some awesome, er, awful dad jokes!!!! My favorite summertime activity is hiking although not for the next few weeks because it is going to be blazing hot here. My planner usage is going fine. My Hobo A6 Hon is for #30inks30days and I have a Jibun Techo Days for the first time this year and I love it. It replaced the Hobonichi weeks. The Jibun has enough space each day for me to write my daily to-dos for work, etc. I hope you are able to keep cool during this heatwave!

Since you’re talking about planners, how is the 5-year diary going? As for summer activities, love just about anything water related, as well as anything forested on a hot day. Looking forward to experiencing the Pelikan hub.

Favorite summer activity would be visiting the mountains. I crave altitude or latitude to escape the heat. Planner use is going good. I have the Weeks and use it daily. I won't be getting another one since any calendar function has to be replicated digitally and the moon phases are sometimes off for North. America. Any daily tasks or record keeping will be moved into my diary journal.

Of course after playing with or using my fountain pens, I like to be out on the golf course. It would be better if the kids wanted to play golf with me, but life is not always perfect. I use my Lavender Circa Planner daily. Just wish it was a bit less expensive and slightly more fountain pen friendly than it already is.

My favorite part about the song summer is visiting family and friends, being at the lake and sleeping late. I do use a planner every day at work but it is not the 😮hobanichi. I already had this one ready before learning about the hobanichi . Maybe next year.
