Jason, PLEASE make a video addressing the propositioned skype debate. Tbh, I think you would win. Layne's arrogance is his greatest weakness. He will come unprepared and underestimate you due to his hubris.

Another great snack is tinned fish such as sardines and mackerel. A great protein and fat source. You can get a single tin for about 40 pence in the UK. All you have to do is peel the tin open and it's ready to eat. 15g of good fats and 22g of protein available right there!

my ass he only has time for 1 meal... if you can shop for protein you can grab deli meat, bread, and veggies. takes 5 fucking minutes to throw a few sandwichs together.

You should do a 'story time' video about your experience dealing with these companies e.g. Tiger fitness

Here's a protip, if you have a kitchen with a microwave oven at work or wherever you spend your time: bring a sack of potatoes and canned sardines to work. At lunch, wrap a few potatoes in damp paper towels, throw them in the micro. While they steam/bake, open a can of sardines. Since you're an adult you have also brought along a bag of apples and bananas and oranges. Eat. There's your protein, your carbs, your omegas and all kinds of micronutrients. Everything can be stored at room temperature and you only need to stock up every so often. Lay off the powdered baby foods.

I do the same. I bring pack of 400g of greek yogurt to work. Mix it with oats, bananas or whatever you like and eat it when you have time.

1 scoop of protein, 3 scoops of oats grinded into powder, some flax seed oil or a different fat source + 1 banana + half an apple mixed in juice and water = success. No nasty ass milk shit, get some protein powder with fruit flavour and it works out awesome. You can EASILY down 1000+ cal in 1 minute that way ... thats also the way to go for all chronic under eaters btw. (i am a chronic under eater, i do insane amounts of cardio in my job, i sometimes work 15+h straight so this was the key for me to gain weight no matter what)

Totally right as usual. Your last video's while making the bullets are becoming the best of all in my opinion. There's some serious common sense and wisdom in those. Actually I stopped making proteïne shakes or weight gains shakes because of the prep ! It's already time consuming enough to poor in the milk, open the carton, put in the right amount of protein in and shake the damn thing. Let alone cleaning that shit up afterward and doing dishes, it really sticks to the shaker too if you don't do it like right away ... I couldn't stand it anymore and stopped it totally. Too much effort if you're going to do that like 4 or 5 times a day. Then we come to the sandwiches with meat. Those are actually very interesting because you can eat a bunch in no time because they go in so easy and fast. And like you said tons of better more convenient options than mixing shakes. I have dishes enough as it is already ... Plus you'll get through a container of protein in about a week if you are going to get serious. I used to set them all on my attic and didn't even clean them out when they were empty, I had no choice ... I can't go cleaning empty containers on top !!!! "Whatever it takes" LOL !!!!!! Rich Piana is NOT cleaning up and out his own shit after making a shake and you can take that to the bank .... That's what really pisses me off !!!! 😡

Hey Jason, I've been detrained for a few months and have been in a large caloric deficit recently without lifting. Even though I haven't been training or eating much, I've managed to hang on to a decent amount of muscle, I'm about 205lbs. I'm at around 11 or 12% bf and hoping I can get leaner, maybe around 10% and then start to bulk when I start lifting again. The reason I'm not lifting now is because I don't want to waste my muscle memory/n00b gainz by being in a large caloric deficit. I plan on starting to lift and bulk back up in about a week or 2 weeks on your novice program. Am I an idiot for going on a short crash diet after not lifting for a few months in hopes that I can get a bit leaner, then start a succesful clean bulk to milk my n00b gains on your 5x5 in a week or two?

How about some smoothies? Add in 2 cups roasted chickpea flour, a cup of oats, 6 bananas, rice/almond milk/soy milk and may be blueberries? I would probably add in some chocolate/cocoa or vanilla. That would be around 1300 kcals and 60 grams of protein. I used to do 2 of these shakes when I had dental braces on. It was fucking awesome to sip these shakes for 30 minutes twice a day and eat just one great meal at night. I made 21lbs of lbm gain in 2 years during my novice years and my main protein source was these shakes, I would drink 2-3 of these shakes a day. If you are not vegan you can certainly add nonfat milk powder or use that as a base, but keep in mind milk is super high in estrogen and WILL give you gyno unless you are really lucky.

Agent. K. Lol. I actually know some people that put meat in smoothies. Go check out Brandon Carter 1500kcal smoothie and you will see. I am keeping it vegan though. Exclusion of animal foods gives my recovery and energy levels a great boost.

Jason talks about greek yoghurt. Is there not quark available in U.S. ? It is a bit sour and very thick fat free product from milk. 11g of protein per 100g. Sold in 250g and 500g containers. Very cheap. Mix it with banana or a can of pineapple. Quick and easy. Quark has been available for decades here (Finland) and lifters eat it like maniacs. Greek yoghurt and quark are fermented products and provide excellent bacteria for gut flora wellbeing. Beats powders hands down in my books.
