Replace Stridor with Blood Echo for MORE HAEMORRHAGE or have Blood Warden, because it has blood in the name. Or Distressing because that's what being attacked by a murder of Crows would be. Blood Favour would be pushing it a bit though. Maybe Hysteria because that's a good response to being attacked by a murder. Stridor does kind of stick out.

I always go 1 perk to help with gens and BBQ for bp, leaving 2 perk slots for whatever sounds like fun. STBFL is always a feel good perk I like to use there :)

Scott, I used to support you, but now that you’re running bloodhound on nurse is unacceptable, it doesn’t matter how bad you are at nurse, it doesn’t matter that you’re using such an op perk on a strong killer

As a Nurse main, I have unironically ran spies from the shadows (mostly due to not having Lethal Pursuer though, but hey). Turns out that spies actually helps quite a bit keeping track of people on Lery's (which I argue is her worst map)

As a nurse main, ive noticed that whenever the blink bug happens, it usually happens consecutively, i thought it was just my luck but seeing it happen to someone else shows. That bug can literally lose u the game

@@kaiseremotion854 its all about predicting where the survivors are gonna go. Try to blink directly next to a survivor and immediately swinging. SupaAlf is a notoriously good nurse main and is worth watching if u wanna learn nurse. And tbh, put the time in on her and she becomes super easy to use

Spies from the Shadows helped me when I was a new player to understand what they did and how to understand that watching for them can be helpful, then I played on Midwhich and never put the perk on again. (Note: the crows on 1st floor can be disturbed when someone is on the top level and vice versa, leading to confusion and WAY too many notifications lmao)

spies may not be the best info perk in the world , but its my go to on so many killers , i just like the crows. i wish the crow mechanic got some tlc to make it feel a bit more relevant and less outdated

I genuinely don’t think spies is as bad as people cut it out to be. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a terrible perk, but claustrophobia, deathbound, lightborn, overcharge, overwhelming presence, stridor, zanshin tactics, so on and so forth are so much worse.

Spies is fine, it's a serviceable info perk when you don't have anything else on a killer for whatever reason. It's definitely better than a lot of perks. I wouldn't call it 'bad' so much as the low end of mediocre.

I think you kinda contradicted yourself Scott. At the start of the video you said that it doesn't really matter what perks you run on Nurse, if you're really good you win. But in this game you had like 20 second chases. Regardless of your overall skill on Nurse, that's still pretty decent. But they slammed out 5 gens in 6 mins because they were just way more efficient time-wise. You need some sort of slowdown on every killer assuming the team is efficient gen-wise. They don't HAVE to be god loopers, they just need to split up to prevent snowballing to really put pressure on the killer. I just think its bad that people act like Nurse never needs any type of game slowdown or any perks in general.

Its also partly his playstyle. He almost always insta picks up instead of slugging for pressure. And almost always tends to not tunnel even if his pressure is slipping.

@@heybro4000 Yeah but he really didn't have many if any opportunities to slug effectively. When he downed most of the survivors, he had no clue where the others were. If he had something like infectious, then he could have but that map is just pretty damn big. Its hard to snowball when no one is nearby. And if they have UB on top of that, you just wasted time.

He did end up admitting that you really DO need game delay perks - even when running the most powerful killers and playing them perfectly - in the last few minutes of the video. I do agree with you, though. I think it's fairly harmful to walk with the mentality that nurse doesn't need any slowdown, since it definitely shifts the view on how generator times,perks, and future killers should be balanced. Wack.

i genuinely think a master nurse wins that game every time. although i only missed a couple of blinks, those extra seconds in chase add up very quickly. also i literally couldnt even play the game near the end so that certainly took away a kill or two

I would say you win most games with nurse without slowdowns if you re good. I run corrupt on her that's it. But imo that's not a slowdown perk. Oh and noway out.. That's my slowdown perk

They REALLY need to fix that blink bug. Getting that many blink bugs in a short amount of time is ridicc. Still, from what I saw of this video you weren't that bad at Nurse. Nice job!

Outside of bloodhound (Thana instead) this was basically my build as a beginner nurse way back when. Having spies was actually really handy when I didn’t have a consistent information perk besides nurse’s calling. Especially when it went off on a level/floor I was on. Never ceases to spook survivors. Now that I’ve mastered plague, I’m itching to see what havoc can be wreaked with Infectious Fright…

As a Nurse main, this is a certified hood classic

i wish they added more variety of sfx in the game. Spies shoudl have some sort of crow sound, not an exploding gen lol

Usually blink bug I wait about 10 seconds without blinking and that fixes it most of the time

That shitty second blink bug happened to me at the finals of a tournament, it was fun

@@GandalfTheSilver I don’t even try to blink through it, but I’ve found that swinging right after it happens usually prevents it from happening consecutively. It’s a sad state of affairs when we have to try and devise ways of countering bugs instead of actually having them get fixed. I could only imagine the added frustration OP had when coupled with the pressure of having to complete in the finals of a tournament.

@@lookatmyfeetDBD I been noticing that alot recently when I play survivor it's really random but it's not just that tho audio when your playing as a survivor or killer cuts out sometimes when your in or out of chase like it becomes really quiet then all of a sudden the chase music comes back but super loud,but hey pretty good job so far right?

I feel like some variation of this build would be good on spirit, if you weren't the best at tracking people down in power, with a bit of game delay included at least. Also those last 2 minutes of the game decided to just fuck up massively, thats the epitome of nurse gameplay right there.

Would Spies From the Shadows be actually good if it read like "Crows startled by a survivor from 36 metres (same for all levels) alert you with a Loud Noise Notification and reveal the Survivor's Aura for 2/2.5/3 seconds Spies From the Shadows cannot be activated by the same survivor twice within 10 seconds"?

I would think Plague would be one of the worst killers for those with hearing impairments, given her so-callled whispering is *SO. LOUD.* As someone who doesn’t have any impairment to my hearing, _I_ can barely hear anything over her going “aDaNiKa DiNgIr AsApU mE” at about a million decibels above everything else. Good lord help those who try to listen in for survivors after drinking her corrupt purge. Nerf the whispers please, ugh! Lol

i think it's really stupid how they originally nerfed one perk because of one killer being able to use it more efficiently than others. why not just nerf the killer in the first place ?

@@decagon1264 They really should have just made it so that Spirit is unaffected by all perks while phasing, like Victor. So Stridor works when chasing normally, but once she starts phasing it deactivates.

I had that bug for about 20 blinks in a row on lerys... not fun

Personally I can only really stand playing nurse when I have the ability to move faster than survivors, be it the 115% for 1 minute add-on or the double iri 102.5% combo

You move faster than anything in dbd when playing her. Just doesn't need the movement speed. She literally ignores the fundamental mechanics of the game.

@@gageowo9527 She does, but only if you are good at blinking. If you can't blink for shit and miss every blink attack when playing as her, the blinks could actually be instant instead of 300% and it wouldn't matter because you wouldn't get any hits ever

I've been playing her since 2016 so of course I'm decent with my blinks but the biggest mistake that makes her seem way harder than she is is a lot of bad nurse players trying to predict where their opponent is going to go and blink there. That's just wrong. Use the first blink to follow them and then the second blink to correct yourself before landing a hit. You don't even need to be decent with her and off of that knowledge alone you'll dominate. I even tried playing her on console and got adept lol. Honestly she's not that bad on a controller. Of course she's much smoother when I'm on keyboard and mouse but people greatly exaggerate how hard she is to play. The hardest thing about her is her bugs

That big is so annoying I got that big like 10 times on RPD and RPD has random walls you can’t blink through. I don’t know why or if there’s a reason for things she can’t blink through but I’ve never played RPD with nurse. Got stuck so many times
