Ingredients:
700g Jicama
100g Carrot
1 tbsp Minced Garlic
1 tbsp Minced Shallot
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Chicken Seasoning
2 Chinese Sausage
2 Eggs
- Rice Paper
- Lettuce
- Herbs
Sauces:
70z Hoisin Sauce
1 Cup Water
1 Bar Brown Sugar
1 tsp of Corn Starch mixed 1 tbsp Water

Fun fact I am Teochew Chinese Vietnamese. This dish came from Chinese immigrants coming to Vietnam. A lot of people I know called this Vietnamese food but it’s origins are muddled because of our peoples diaspora. I hope we can preserve that.

Hi Ivy! Same here, I am Teochew but was born in VN. Both my parents are Teochew. Yeah! Hope we can preserve our roots. I also introduced Teochew food to my kids. I’ve made a few Teochew recipes on this channel. Learned it from my mom, very precious to me. Do you speak Teochew? I still speak to mom. Take care! 💕
