This is my favorite dish to get at Vietnamese restaurants... I get the grilled pork with eggroll combination. I also love shredded carrot and bean sprouts with my salad!

This salad and the salad with the crispy Spring rolls both are so delicious 😋 yummy!

I absolutely love Vietnamese grilled pork. My friend and I go every weekend to our favorite Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant Dong Ky for this dish. They also offer it with either chicken or beef. Another favorite of mine is Com Tam Bi Suon Cha Man with the dipping sauce Nuoc Mam. So yummy! Thank you for sharing, now I can make it myself.

We like the salad too...(we consider it to be almost a “Banh Mi in a bowl”) and I like mine with a fried egg roll in it too and I let it get soggy with the fish sauce and eat it LAST! Nice recipes, Thank You for providing them.

Absolutely!

I've had many times with grilled pork (my favorite), sometimes shrimp too. Usually, some lettuce, cucumber, bean sprout, pickled carrot and daikon radish, lemon grass, peanuts crushed and sprinkled on top with egg rolls and fish sauce. One of my favorite meals ever!

I just had a bowl like this visiting a friend in VA and it was amazing. There's an entire Vietmanese plaza and market near him, and I'm very jealous he has it so close! Between this video, the grilled pork and homemade nuoc mam sauce videos, I'm going to try and make it at home :)

Here's the knife that I found on Amazon that I just purchased a couple months ago of the same knife. www.amazon.com/dp/B008QPBPLO/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_3S5MCNX6JX2ZJCPDK8W5 For chopsticks, I like to use bamboo for cooking and eating. My preference is that they have a little square edges to make it easier to pickup food and the bamboo or wood is not too slippery so I dont have to use a lot of strength to use due to arthritis. Hi Hope, I add lemongrass in the marinade mix all together.

I used to for a man from Saigon… he always insisted on SAIGON! He was half American and a Olympic level athlete who wasn’t able to compete because he was half American… he ended up in the middle of America owning a simple pho spot and offered a dish like this… I honestly hate how years later I have to order it as R4 or p5 or a1… anyway this dish would have been called vermicelli with bbq and either pork pancake, meatballs, shrimp, or egg roll…
