I saw her once in concert and she was simply amazing.

She makes love to a song, regardless of what it is. Facial expressions, tenderness, incredible power, head movements, perfect pitch. Good lord ...what a voice and entertainer!!!

So glad I had the good sense and taste to vote for her on Star Search a hundred years ago. :)

LINDA EDER SIMPLY HAS THE BEST VOICE OF ANYONE, ANWHERE, ANY TIME - PERFECTLY GORGEOUS 🤩😍 I'VE SEEN HER IN CONCERT ABOUT 10 TIMES............THRILLS & CHILLS EACH TIME. MAGNIFICENT!

The best singer in the whole world! She is so humble and kind.

Have seen her live three times, Her show is a pure delight in every way. And her love for her horses makes her all the more endearing!

You're welcome. She's amazing, isn't she? Even in the musical theater world which is considered as some sort of Mecca for talent, Linda's voice is a one-off. A clear/beautiful voice, a phenomenal belt, and a multi-octave vocal range is a very rare combination methinks. :)

Linda Eder is awesome! I have had the wonderful opportunity to listen to her live in concert on many occasions. Blows me away EVERY TIME! If you have been to a live show-you know what I mean...if you have not, DEFINITELY GO the next time you have the chance, you will NOT be sorry!

Few know that the song, "Vienna," was written in memory of Vienna's Jews, murdered by Austrian Nazis. It is very moving.

+TheBlfan It is precisely that the origins of the lyrics are so obscure and tangential that make it so powerful. It appears to be a simple love song, a tribute to a "lost love" and indeed it can be enjoyed just for that aspect. But the nature of memory is so compelling that once actual association by personal events and recollection is lost, the memory is lost. The song recognises that "That dance belongs to yesterday" but the hidden story of the singer is honoured by her/his memory of the wonderful street cafe life of Vienna when the Jews were integral to the life of the City. Those of Jewish or mixed Jewish race totalled 200,000 in pre war Vienna or 10% of the total population. It is estimated that as many as 160.000 of those perished under the Nazis, changing forever that part of the great City's history. The song, therefore, captures a brief personal memory of today, while forgetful history hurries on with its life.........
