First of all, you are 100 percent wrong 1. Boeing never built any helicopters for Iran. 2. It's an older helicopter made, by Bell, a company who has no relationship to Boeing 3. The aircraft is about 40 to 50 years old. It's an older design. 4. Sanctions. Iran has been forced to build their own helicopters or fix their own in house with locally made, or smuggled parts due to sanctions 5. Pilot error. remember when Kobe Bryant was killed? Similar conditions. Low visibility while flying low to the ground, in higher altitudes, and mountains, that's a perfect recipe for disaster. My question to you is, why are you blaming Boeing?

And why did the two accompanying helicopters go home instead of noting the coordinates where the president’s plane went down, or stopping to help. Presumably they would be there to protect the president wouldn’t they? Maybe I don’t understand the culture, or maybe something is not right.

They were riding in a helicopter that hadn't been serviced since the 70's or 80's because Boeing refused to work on them due to the conditions they were in.
