She was upset that the mousy mascot wasn't high fiving her daughter and appeared to look right at her. He was high fiving the rest of the kids and seemed to pull his hand away when he saw the girl. They weren't interrupting, they were trying to participate.

I'm so tired of people playing the race card when things don't go your way. I remember some nursing students doing that to a Nursing clinical teacher cause they weren't doing good clinical wise. I was the main nurse on that floor. Through out the years this teacher never had issues from any of her students whether they were white, black, or hispanic. These few black students and not all of the black students I will add really tried saying it was "racism" like nah, ya'll just have no common sense. These students were making some pretty bad mistakes, so out of desperation, they tried to ruin this woman's reputation and career. I told those students that they were wrong for that. That poor teacher decided it would be her last year teaching and went back to the nursing field. We already have a shortage for nurses, so getting nurses to teach nursing students is even shorter.

Shes interrupting another kids private party. Its not rasicm its a case of a parent not respecting another families private event and thinking their kid can do whatever they want and if not of course let's play the race card. It's pathetic and more people are waking up to it

I worked at chuck e. Cheese for 3 years. I had to wear the suit. We had birthday groups, and when we had the shout out for a specific birthday group, we were supposed to only focus on that group. I also can confirm that it is VERY difficult to see out of the suit, i cant even tell you the amount of kids I, and the other employees, accidentally tripped over because we literally couldnt see them.The parents should have kept her back until the shout out was done anyways. Chuck E. also does walk arounds every hour as well where anyone can take photos with him.

I actually used to be a mascot for chuck e cheese, and they can only see out of the eye holes and if you tilt your head forward too much, the whole head falls off. Former employee here, the reason why the mascot didn’t see your daughter is because he is in the middle of a birthday show. If you look closely every child from the birthday is lined up on stage. Birthday are extremely important, It’s not that he is ignoring your child, he is literally in the middle of what we call a “show”

Exactly, and you can hear that the kids on the stage getting a high-five right now are because it's their birthday. He's talking and doing a performance and looking out at the crowd. He might not even see the kid. I wouldn't want my toddler in-between the feet of some guy performing for the stage. That's just asking for her to get walked on.

You guys know what? I watched it again and I heard the DJ say, "happy birthday to all these special birthday kids". There were multiple parties going on. It was probably the weekend. So all the birthday kids were lined up on stage, I think! So not a private party, to my definition. I haven't been in awhile but they did do that sometimes.

Her Mother should have removed her daughter from interrupting the private birthday! It is her fault and feels like a set up to pull the race card. The little girl was used by her mom for this. I'm sure the mascot was just following the script as not to upset the parents of the child he was supposed to be celebrating at that time. He was in a no win situation. I feel for the little girl, but it is totally the Mother's fault!

As a black person myself, this is ridiculous to sue over something like this. If you listen to the video, you can hear Chuck E giving a speech about all the “birthday stars” in the building and is clearly entertaining other children either during a private party or during a random segment of the day where the focus is on birthday kids. In this instance, he is doing a different job focusing on the birthday kids and during that time, they don’t interact with any other kids unless it’s their birthday. The mom shouldn’t have let her interrupt what was going on at that moment. She should have been told to wait until it was over.

Why is the kids mom just filming and not escorting her kid out of the private party

A kid is gonna be a kid. If they see a giant furry mouse, they’re going to try to interact. She’s just a sweet precious little girl doing what all kids do. However, those party packages can be quite expensive and included comes a meet and greet and show with the mascot. While the mascot moves, the recording of what is suppose to be his voice plays. He was in the middle of the show and just a teen trying to make that min wage green. He looked uncomfortable and looked directly at who was filming as if to say, “Are you going to get ur child?” Mom instead chose to allow her child to interrupt a party, record, and then complain and make allegations. Entitlement at its finest. *The actor was black btw

My 16 year old black daughter actually works for Chuck E Cheese and has been in the suit. It is extremely hard to see out of the suit and that’s why they require an assistant to guide them and they only wave. They literally can’t see, especially what’s below them. She told me a story about her taking a picture with a kid and thinking her hand was on his shoulder but it was actually on his head, lol. Had I not had inside knowledge I’d take this video out of context too.

I'm more than willing to bet it's most likely some 16 year old kid that doesn't really care about race but don't really like children like that... I only lasted 3 weeks at that job because the machine's music was stuck in my head and whenever I lay down at night I could not get it out lol... I went back told my manager that I need to put in my 2 weeks' notice because I feel like I'm going crazy, I guess they thought I meant I was gonna shoot up the place so they just let me go right there and there😂🤣😅😆.
