I am so sorry for all the families that lost their kids and I feel just as bad for those who survived as they have major depression and PTSD.

Just seeing that first mother crying really makes me sad. Nobody deserved to get their children lost. Parents who have lost their children out there, I feel really bad. Your children didn’t deserve this, they were too young. I’m sorry for your loss..

The husband of that poor teacher literally died of a broken heart. This kills me. So much innocence taken for no reason at all.

That's why a doctor will suggest patients dealing with heart issues try to limit stressful activities/interactions or find coping mechanisms for dealing with stress. And in the case of extreme (and/or sudden unexpected) grief, yeah, it can either temporarily or permanently cause critical damage and stress on the circulatory system & heart muscle. It's all so very sad.

The sad thing is these kids just started out their lives. To be murdered like this and to have their final moments of life without their parents is too heartbreaking.

Yeah, and it's not just seeing them die... It's seeing their faces literally torn from their bodies. This type of PTSD is usually only experienced by soldiers in war... I hope these kids and families find all the help they need - for life - because the very real danger of suicide just increased by 10000000%.

The survivors will never be the same. My uncle was a Vietnam vet. He played dead when his whole platoon was ambushed and killed. I think only he and one other soldier survived. He never would talk about it and buried it deep in his soul. He committed suicide at the age of 57. This tragedy will have ripple effects for decades.

No child should ever have to experience this. I don't think any kid could ever fully recover from something this traumatic.

Man, that one dude missed his wife so much he died of a broken heart. My great grandma went that way. Her husband of 65 years passed and she followed a week or so later despite being in good health until then.

Sometimes it may be best to just go to school right away and deal with temporary pain and get over the fear. If he stays at home and the fear builds up, then it may be much harder to deal with it in the future. I remember my psychology professor telling us when she got into a car accident, she called for another car immediately and drove to her destination.

But the truth isn’t that this issue is significantly higher than a lot of other methods of murder. So we can’t take someone’s grief as a time to jump to that. But if you have not felt that pain or the realization that you almost had to, I don’t believe you can truly speak on it at all

I don’t want to even imagine how it felt for those 4 kids to lose both their mom and dad it’s really heartbreaking 💔

It's sad and frustrating that cops now-a-days can't do their job correctly! Theyre incompetent. What's worse is they're rarely held accountable. On Tuesday evening, the coward officers, got to come home from work and greet THEIR kids and see their smiling faces. While parents of those kids who were murdered won't have the privilage again! I’m scared to go back to school not knowing what could happen any moment. Praying for the kids who had to see their friends die, and those who had been injured as well as the Parents/Guardians who had to bury their child instead of seeing them another day safe and sound. It's terrifying. I'm not a mother, but I'm an older sister, and I have to worry about my younger siblings getting shot at school. I have 2 years left of school, so I'm not worried about me. Just the thought of something happening to my younger brothers and sister makes me sick

it must be horrific knowing that the next day after a shooting you know your friends and classmates won’t be there, horrible people. nobody should take their anger out on innocent children

Every time I think about what those children faced in that classroom I start to feel overly emotional and have to stop. This was a horrible nightmare. Unimaginable terror for babies to experience.

This boy shows no signs of distress. If he were actually in that situation and witnessed what he claims, he would be so incredibly distraught that he wouldn’t be able to go forth with an interview in just a matter of days after the shooting. He looks relaxed throughout the interview. The whole storyline is very fishy to me. The cops waiting outside? Maybe they were given direction to not proceed by feds? Something else that makes me question all this is that I began receiving ads on KZread videos for the ‘Sandy Hook Promise Foundation’, which I had NEVER seen before until the day after the shooting. It’s all timed so perfectly- perhaps this is the goal in order to stir up more anti-gun feelings among Americans

The story about the 4 kids losing both their parents within days. I lost my dad 11 years ago at 21 to a heart condition and haven’t been the same since but I’ve still got my mom. I couldn’t imagine losing both parents so close together.

I lost my father a long time ago when I was 8 due to cancer. Gladly I also still have my mother and sister. But just thinking about losing both parents will get me tearing up. If just losing my father had such a significant impact on me and almost anyone who has lost one of their parents imagine both, the two people who raised you the two people who taught you just left with no trace. (this applies to people that did not have a parent who left at birth and this also applies to adoptive parents)

I am American and I agree with your point. The more guns there are, the harder it is to control each and every one. A lot of people who are caught up in our Second Amendment to the Constitution have probably never read it. It states that the right to keep and bear arms is predicted upon the responsibility we have to one another, and this nation to defend it in times of strife. I really wonder how shooting up a school can be said to be defending the US.

No kids deserve to go through the experience of losing their friends. And no parent should ever have to lay their child to rest. Praying for all the victims and their families

2023 and I’m still crying.

What happened is a big tragedy. My prayers go to families of victims. Also really sad that police just didn't do anything to help these kids and teachers.

No adult has the right to inflict this kind of pain on child. May God be with these victims and their families.

Why on earth would you want god to be with them now? He wasnt with any of those of poor kids when they were gunned down. He just sat and watched. Would you want condolences from the lifeguard that just sat and watched your child drown?
