Daewoo wassbout bottom of the line as far as a vcr was concearned. Would be interesting to know what some of the better brands had in scrap such as sony and jvc

Love the scrapping vids, keep them coming! If you was able to accumulate enough boards, a detailed depopulating videos would be cool!! Like the ones Ewaste Ben did in 2017!! I've watched his depopulating videos 3 and 4 times each! I love to learn and he goes into alot of detail about what each item is and how he separates everything!! I'd like to see how you think when it comes to depopulating a dozen boards or so! Low grade, mid grade and high grades!! Have a GREAT Day!!!

Theres less than 20 cents worth of gold in this video! Less! Haha for length of time it takes to take apart its not really worth it, but better than wasting gold for sure

Where I live the plastic is all garbage, the steel is recyclable but often times you get no money for it. The little motors I can't seem to sell to anyone, the circuit boards I have to find a buyer and ship them out in the mail. It's all difficult but I still do scrap things.

Those silver colored pieces that you called crystal. How do I process those? And what precious metals does it contain? Because I've been saving them for a long time but don't know what to do with them.

I have been collecting the dead boards and removing anything with precious metals and putting them in a bin for years. When the bin fills I pour in the acid and let it sit. The acid desolves any copper or steel but not the metals I'm after. So I have a ball of resin with loads of gold silver tantalum platinum and so on all mixed together. I don't have a way to get it hot enough. If I keep this up I'm going to end up with a big pile of scrap to sell. I don't know if it's worth separating or not. I can't get the chemicals to do it properly or they are expensive.

Take an angle grinder and grind it down. Inside of a big plastic bin. To catch the fragments. Then you can use a gold pan and pan it out.

I th ink some of that internal plate structure may have been aluminum. Did you test it with a magnet?

Since when the audio head of vcr been changed it's name to motor? Encoder being called a potentiometer?
