In today's video, we will show you a video portrait that we filmed with the Sony FX30 in 4K 10bit 4:2:2 S-log3 during the cherry blossom season in Vancouver Canada. We are very happy with the result and are extremely impressed by the image quality coming out of the Sony FX30 after color grading the footage in DaVinci Resolve to create this vintage film look! I would like to know how you expose slog 3 with zebras, false colors or an external monitor. And also how to read the waveform to setup the right exposure for slog 3.

We did not use any diffusion filters but we were using a variable ND filter, hope it helps! Thank you so much for supporting the video!

If you don't mind telling which one you used, and if you recommend it... I'm looking to buy my first ND, and I think I might buy your recommendation on an older video (K&F 10 stops + Tiffen 1/4). Thank you for your answer! ❤

We are currently using the K&F Concept 2 to 9 stops (not 10 stops) variable ND, hope it helps!
