Great alarm! I need to get a WCH mechanical bell some day. IIRC, those are like $245-$275. The "battery-things" are capacitors. At 3:59 are terminal blocks. Not sure how it'd operate with them, but it's where the power is connected to the yodalarm so that it can sound. Maybe Clifford & Snell has a wiring guide on the website?

Very interesting! The small white switches with numbers above is how to change the tones/frequencies. For example; selecting all switches activates the two-tone level crossing style alarm (800hz/1000hz).

I have one of these and the alarm sounds on a normal UK plug. 13AMP fuse

from my older version of a YODalarm, The blue boxes what you thought were the tone select are probably the positive and negative terminals. the black box at 3:29 is the volume control. and the blue box with white switches is the tone control. DC24 V means 24 VOLTS. at 7:51 the lights are a xenon strobe made by YODalarm called a "Flashalarm" I got my YODalarm for £10 off eBay.

But how do you get it to sound? If you get me.

Joe this is alarm on ebay e2 is cheaper . I have found them to have better service on delivery . I use them all the time

Buy a 9v battery, and crocodile clip wires. Then activate the alarm and enjoy.
