It makes more sense then a 6000ft wide UFO hovering over a city. If you shoot up 6 flares roughly 1000 ft apart, it will be hard to discern any movement between them at such distances. And considering wind conditions are those heights are relatively normalized, they all likely where influenced in roughly the same manner- being that wind often has a consistent direction and speed over an area of a few thousand feet.

Wasn't anyone closer then this and recorded it? this is the only video I've seen,all those neighborhoods down there and this is the only video?

..it was in New Zealand also in Kaikoura

Don't forget the story of Robert Taylor the Dechmont woods encounter... it's one of many story's of how these UFO's can interact with us... that one was pretty frightening! but remember it only hurt him it did not kill him?

1997 the phoenix lights. 2006 drones became available for civilians (military had only been developing such machines for ~150 years). 9 years between events. The military had, probably way before 1997, drones that could fly. It just took awhile to develop the technology for the formation software. It seems obvious to me. I'm not always right.

Imagine if it was just a formation of helicopters with bright lights.

Illumination flares. I’ve seen the exact same thing 6-7 times. Not anti missile flares that they always show to debunk that explanation. The lowest ones also go out first because they were dropped first.

The Air Force confirmed that the lights were flares and they were dropped at an unusually high altitude of 15000 ft. They slowly descended and disappeared behind the Sierra Estrella mountain range. I'm sure the people shooting the video and a lot of witnesses knew what they were considering they drop flares in that area all the time, yet once the UFO story caught on the people went with it. As far as the "V" shaped formation, a person clearly identified it as being a squadron of planes. The Air Force even reported nothing unusual on radar that night and a squadron of planes is nothing unusual.

There was no v shaped craft .it was only lights .and if you look on South mountain you will find 1000 yr old hohokam carvings that are same objects
