Summer of 2020 was basically Fall Guys fever. It truly felt like EVERYONE was playing this silly yet interesting game about a couple of bean guys trying to become the king of their lobby. Probably the most tragic fall-off in gaming next to the Halo series.

Sky landers was peak gaming bro. My parents got me a Wii with sky landers giants and that was the first ever console I had, I was enthralled with that series, the quality dropped significantly and it died. Of course it was a cash grab but it was an amazing cash grab. Also I don’t think undertale died, I feel like every single player will die, you can’t avoid it, but multiplayers that die are another story like battlefield. Also gears of war is a game that fell of. W vid as always

Man, I'm surprised Hello Neighbor wasn't mentioned. I remember when so many KZreadrs would play the alpha versions of the game before it was released. There were so many spin-offs, a sequel, and even a show. They were unable to save the game from being forgotten.

Undertale got like really popular but fell off. Still an insanely well made game, and Deltarune is amazing as well. Toby Fox is a great game developer, and I also like that Undertale had Touhou Inspiration.

undertale is a game that everyone finished so it got boring and it was out for wayy too long its still speedrun alot but thats really its only relevancy deltarune is also falling off since chapter 3 hasnt came out in a while so its losing relevancy

Only problem with this video is that you compared games that only have a single player having less concurrent players than a multiplayer game is a bad take because I think it’s a no brainer that an online game will have more players than a single player game. Also most games become irrelevant because of lack of updates, cuphead had 1 dlc and undertale had deltarune (which was not something new btw that was Toby Fox’s original idea) which hasn’t been updated for 3 years, so yeah ofcourse it’s dead it needs an update, because well it’s not finished, good video though.

I understand what you’re saying but the difference is Overwatch is far more replay-able simply because it’s multiplayer, while with Undertale or Deltarune, it’s a single player game, so people play it then move on. So yeah. Not trying to sound snobby or anything, I just wanted to point out that it isn’t exactly fair to compare the 2.

How is Crash a knock off sonic? Crash Bandicoot is a precision platformer meanwhile Sonic is a fast pace platformer. Just because they both attack things without jumping on them or having a power up doesn’t make them the same. Crash being a Sonic clone is probably just a joke that just doesn’t make sense tho.

Definitely Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. It came back in 2020 because of the THPS 1+2 remake then it fell off after the studio was bought out by Activision+Blizzard in 2022 and cancelled THPS 3+4 remake.

7:52 I feel you, I was completely obsessed with it and I still collect Skylanders figures to this day - I still love the game, but at Superchargers - it started declining, and really dropped off at Imaginators. Skylanders Giants and Trap Team was peak gaming, I think the game started to die because they were bringing out a game every year, non-stop while very few people could afford to keep buying the Skylanders with how many and how often they were brought out, and them being too greedy with the cars in Superchargers - going for double, sometimes triple the price of ordinary figures, then Imaginators with the poor storyline and trying to bring a bunch of classes on top of the elements - it became too complex......I'd still play Skylanders to this day, but it just doesn't feel the same anymore.

When I was younger I always played sky landers and it was my favorite game of all time. I still own the game and many of the figures and they are in my shelf, sitting, and collecting dust. Honestly I think they should remaster the skylander games cuz if they did I guarantee it would be popular.

I think watch dogs 2 was just automatically online because I remember my mom's friend's son was playing it with me and my brother and we were chasing some guy who kept killing us, but we were also doing missions sometimes, in the same server or whatever

I still see talk about undertale and bendy and the ink machine but damn it’s rare as hell to find it, both are good games but I feel like they got overshadowed by other games as time went on

I’m actually glad no one said Sonic. Sonic fr is peak. Between the fun gameplay, the anime like storytelling and the fire ass music, Sonic just like a perfect game franchise 🤷🏾‍♂️

This video definitely brought back some memories but some of this stuff didn't fall off that hard. Undertale still has some relevancy to be fair and a fangame that's fully animated which is, crazy. Skylanders callback hit home like Disney Infinity cause that series had Nova man, NOVA. Does anybody even remember Nova anymore? And finally, you can't compare Bendy and the Ink Machine to Yandere Simulator cause at least Bendy was a game that came out and also had a sequel. Yandere Simulator is a corpse at this point. But nonetheless, this video gave me some memories and was definitely well put together. Much appreciated!

I still play watch dogs 2 sometimes, but I can say that as somebody who completed the game and has none of the DLCs, it gets pretty boring and I usually hop off it for a couple mins.

The reason it's dead is because legion (the latest installment) was trash, and the community wasn't happy. So idk if Ubisoft will make another installment. But at least WD2 is far from dead.

I see your point regarding Undertale, but for me, that game is peak story telling, and sort of like games like minecraft, will have a core fanbase even through the decline in overall popularity. And the ost is some of the best ive ever heard. Undertale will stay my favorite game for a long time. Skylanders was my childhood and each toy I had to get separately expensive as hell and I don’t even play anymore

9:37 Nah occasionally I’ll just pop in Skylanders trap team into my Wii and play it every couple of months. It’s fun to just play, but you realize how easy it was, but as a kid it just felt so different.

I played Undertale recently and it didn’t hit the same. Seemed more mid than I remembered. Deltarune is ongoing (even though the new chapters have been delayed several times) and I’m not gonna lie the story and lore has me. People don’t want to admit it but it’s better than Undertale… I mention Deltarune because it’s by the same dev and had the same characters from Undertale. Fun fact, even though deltarune came out after Undertale, Toby Fox had the idea for deltarune first. And deltarune is not the Undertale sequel. It has nothing to do with Undertale besides of course the character and a few references to the original game. Deltarune is its own thing! One reason why deltarune isn’t as popular as Undertale is because everyone THOUGHT it was Undertale 2 but it’s not, and there’s not much story in chapter one. By the time chapter 2 came out most of the hype was gone… I mean- I understand not everyone likes it, but deltarune is a top 10 for me. For reference my #2 is cod black ops 3 and my #1 is Nintendo land (I’m sure nobody knows that one but it’s fire).

Undertale is still mad popular within the community they got diffrent AUS, fangames, comics still being made to this DAY, there is even a Undertale youtuber with over a Million subs Merg still it fell off but damn the community just doesn't wanna die 😭

I whouldn't call It mad popular, nowdays unless you are in the fandom you probably havent heard about it since 2021, in 2016 the game was world news and won many awards now its kinda just the few people that care about the game, merg has been stuck on 1 million subs for like 2 years now and has in the past years begun playing other games probably to have a smoother transaction to other forms of content when undertale will not pay his rent anymore, the AU's are just small parts of the fandom people blew them out of proportion, most comics are shitty memes not like the ones that had full blown stories in the past and the fan game has been in developent for 7 years no shit it was this well made look at the first trailer it was pretty ugly looking nothing different from the fan games of the time, undertale it's on Its way out the door along with fnaf its just a mather of when the fandom finally decides to die.

I remember playing sky landers on the wii when I was like 6 that game really did fall off

I wont even say Undertale or bendy fallen off they still talked about, it just everyone beaten the games, figure out clues and theories that there isnt much to talk about same thing can go for fnaf but yet again fnaf is having new games and new projects coming out constantly so there will be new things to talk about with fnaf unlike bendy and Undertale

Ima be real man. Normally you cook but you DID NOT cook with the undertale takes. First off Deltarune is still really popular and chapter 2 made significant waves on the internet when it was released in 2021, plus its hella popular. And undertale fanbase is still alive and well, with undertale yellow releasing last week (an entire fan made prequel to undertale that’s been in the works for like 4+ years now) and Underverse (animated web series here on KZread) going strong and pulling in MILLIONS of views per episode undertale is no where CLOSE to falling off
