As another black guy I knew it was a trend but I liked the message and was pretty happy that many people cared about racial inequality and police brutality and wanted it to go away. However, I didn’t like the fact that many people used the movement as an excuse to rob buildings and burn them down. It made the movement look really bad.

It’s facts, I’ve lived in the hood up until I left for the military. I see a bunch of guys from good neighborhoods trying to act hood meanwhile us regular guys from the hood are finding ways to leave, rappers made them think it’s a great life when it’s not, my co-workers were surprised that I told them there was an attempt at my life twice for no reason just a drive-by, so shootings ain’t different for me
