This one's been in the works for a while and I'm glad that it's finally finished! Had a lot of fun working on this, researching, gathering footage and editing it all together, so I hope you all enjoy! Usual shout outs to the WhoSampled userbase, random mfs in KZread comments and people I know online!

It's actually crazy how often black culture and Japanese culture borrow each other, from all of cowboy bepops soundtrack derivative of big band jazz, to personas acid jazz, Gundamn thunderbolt's free jazz, to producers samplings, Nujabes, to Tatsuro Yamashita in Tyler, and Evangelion's Thanatos and Snake Eater choosing to have a black singer. Boondocks being based off of anime and lastly lets not forget one of the biggest subcultures of black folks favorite past times, enjoying anime. It's great.
