i agree, video game research helps me do great in university. it means i end up doing my work last minute, but it ensures i can use all of my researched knowledge to get good grades

I recommend you research a small indie game called the last of us part 2. It is exactly what your game is: indie, 2d, platformer, and really peaceful and vibrant. It’s really educational for you!

Oh man, finally completing 'Whites Hell Rush' in Neon White is one of my most satisfying gaming experiences ever. Great game!

I agree researchibg is a challenging but enjoyable process. I'm also interested in seeing how you actually make design decisions and turn them into individual mechanics.

I was one of the guys playtesting your game who dropped at the first level )) the one right after you leave the village. The game is everything I expected in terms of the atmosphere. And I did expect it to be hard. But after like 40th try to get the stupid flower I quit. And mostly because I didn't find the controls responsive. Maybe it's because I'm playing on a SteamDeck with an Xbox controller attached, and that adds a significant lag. But that same setup felt OK for Celeste, for example. I hope that the playtest will help you polish the game before the release. I'm really looking forward for the launch. Also, would be cool if you could add some difficulty controls to the game. Disabling (or reducing) gravity while in tether mode would help, for example

I think I had to use like 300 brain cells right then and I only have 3 So, if you're into crunching numbers, I'm apparently tapping into 100 times more brain cells than my usual, which is quite a feat considering I only have a measly 3 to spare. wait why do I sound smart now?!
