And don't worry about it: the entire community was so focused on radios, graffities and any other minor details, that the shark was left unnoticed until recently one of the devs just hinted at its existence

A detail in Saints Row 1 is that when you go into a tunnel or underpass in a convertible, the radio echoes.

The ‘Temporal Paradox’ that’s mentioned in the Dark Souls easter egg could also be a reference to Metal Gear Solid 3, where if you kill Ocelot or EVA, Colonel Cambell will say over the Game Over screen that you’ve created a time paradox.

One easter egg I stumbled onto was in Warframe where for the story mission on Deemos you get a mission to use a Necramech called Voidrig with the codename "Snake" but it has an additional reference for when you get destroyed with "father" yelling "Snake?!....SNAAAAAAAAKE!!!!"

Scarecrow behavior is also very similar to Watson's from early Sherlock Holmes games by Frogwares. Watson didn't walk there, but magically teleported to you when you were not looking, most noteable in 2008 Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened

I love the coincidence of the character that the scarecrow speaks of being named Steve. As a fellow Steve myself, it adds an extra unintentional layer of creepy

The scarecrow moving and talking to you reminds me of the game “Sir, you are being hunted”, the scarecrows keep taunting you aswell about you being watched by them and move when you’re not looking

Forgive Me Father has a ton of great easter eggs. In one of the cabins in the swamp level, if you look on the walls you can find a wanted poster for Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece, and another level has graffiti depicting an eldritch version of Trogdor the Burninator.

Not necessarily an Easter Egg, but on the World's Edge map in Apex, if Wattson pings the wall art at the parked dropship with her face on it, she will have unique dialogue.

Yeah, the scarecrow isn’t exact enough to be a weeping angel. It could just as easily be a reference to SCP-173, which came before the weeping angels.

What about a reference to Slender-Man?

The scarecrow looks very similar to the scarecrow from the start screen of RE Village

I think the reference is with Mirage. He's voiced by Roger Craig Smith. He also voiced Ezio in Assassin's Creed.

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Link gains an ability called Ultrahand, which allows him to grab and manipulate objects. This is a reference to a toy Nintendo made in the 60s called Ultra Hand. The toy can also be seen in games such as Majora's Mask, Mario Kart 8, and Splatoon 3, and the creator of the toy, Gunpei Yokoi, went on to also invent the Love Tester (as made famous in The Simpsons), the D-Pad on every controller, and the Game Boy.

There is a detail in metro last light where if you shoot an oil lamp while it is on lit,there will be a small fire,and if you shoot it while it is off there will be no flame at all,only a small splash of oil.

Great video as always Captain. Also there's a detail in Escape Dead Island. After completing the game, when the credits are over, the game automatically starts over. This time however, Cliff's clothes are torn up and bloody. Possibly hinting that he's been on the island already and the game is on a time loop. That's my theory at least.

A cool Dead Island 2 detail I haven’t really seen mentioned is the painting of Emma. When she owns her home, there is a big painting of her in her bedroom, but when she gives over her home to her housekeeper, the painting is gone. If you go to the trash area behind the garage after this, you will find that painting there. Just a neat little detail I noticed.

You missed an easter egg in forgive me father you can find Monkey D Luffy's wanted poster on a wall in one of the levels its from One Piece for those that don't know

1:28 That's not a Dark Souls Easter Egg. When the Vampires die, they turn into that pile of ash. That's just a dead Vampire with a stake in it, and a belt of stake ammo on the bench.

In "Tears of the Kingdom", after you complete the beginning of the "Dream Home" side quest in Tarrey Town, you can go to Link's house and once you set foot on the property you can hear the opening jingle of Kakariko Town from "Ocarina of Time" before it fades out.

The devs that made Deathloop and Dishonored are Arkane Lyon. Arkane Austin made Prey and Redfall.

I've got an easter egg for you if you haven't already seen it. In retro fps shooter "CULTIC" on the asylum grounds level on the maintenance shed door the sentence "don't open dead inside/don't dead open inside" is written on there (there's also zombies in there). you actually can't miss it since you need to go in their for an important mission item.

In Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart there is an elaborate Easter Egg referencing Pirates of the Caribbean, both the ride and the movie on the pirate planet, right before you enter the pirate trials - you see a dog that has a key, and some prisoners trying to lure it over with a bone - the dialogue from them is even based on the ride, although made more comedic

There is another cool secret in the firing range. There are multiple colors of Nessie’s. First is the Pink Nessie. You need to kill 100 dummy bots and it’ll appear on the belfry Second is the blue Nessie, which is an absolute pain in the butt. You need to throw a knife in the sky and hope it lands a headshot. If it does, it should spawn in the Ravens Nest. There is a gold Nessie but others don’t know exactly how to activate it

The scarecrow appearance and behaviour (and the well close by) are all very indicative of the unreal engine mega scans demo where something similar happens

whats even funnier. not only the game but also the eastereggs in redfall are bad. thats a accomplishment on its own.

The moving scarecrow could be a nod to Boo from the Mario series as well. As Boo makes noise when either looking or not looking at it. As the Weeping Angels don't make any noise.

These creatures and items are known as SCPs sand are designated by numbers and name. One of which is known as SCP 173, better known as “The Peanut”. It’s is a statue with its arms extended out. When looking at it, it’s frozen in place. However when you look away, it’ll creep closer to you. And it will continue to do so in an effort to snap your neck.

In Zombie Army 4's Ragnarok Part 2 DLC during the first "Survive the Ambush" objective, one of the characters, when giving story exposition about the beginning of the universe, says the line "In primordial space, timeless creatures made waves." This is referencing the exact same line from Marathon 2 of the famous Marathon series.

In the game The creatures of the deep, when you first open the game , you will be greeted with a familiar phrase that references skyrim. That's not all though, if you explore the game even further, you will find some movie references.😊😊

There is a guy in Jedi survivors called scoova stev. I believe that he is based on scuba Steve from big daddy the Adam Sandler movie because they both are fishermen.

I think the dark souls death screen Easter Egg was also a reference to the Metal Gear Solid games that take place in the past, where killing someone who appears at a later date will create a temporal paradox.

Dishonored and Redfall is not developed by the same studio. Redfall is made by Arkane Austin while Dishonored was made by Arkane Lyon. Austin made Prey before :)

If you were only able to do the synchronization with only mirage it'll make sense due Ezio from AC have the same voice actor.

In redfall if you go to the lighthouse there is a couple of whale oil canisters from dishonored

In Call of Duty: Ghosts, Logan gets kidnapped at the end of the game by Rorke the antagonist. See there is a detail to what happen to Logan Walker in the end credits cutscene. The detail is that Logan Walker is being fed poison in the Amazon forest in a hole. This is the same thing that happened to Rorke way before the game started.

An Easter egg I found on skate 3 is if you go downtown and into the shopping centre part there is many shops referencing things one is called rickrolls with a pic of Rick himself

If you want to see another back rooms easter egg you can find one in the demo for Trepang2. When you're at the base there's a doorway and some stairs covered by a fence and some boxes in front of it. You have to cheat to get through but if you enter that doorway and walk up the stairs you will end up in the backrooms, including an invisible entity that tries to kill you.
