Well, it is a budget option since the newer generation models require less and less hair to make...
You are THE GOAT when it comes to presenting innovative ideas that consider your audience's needs, level of complexity, and budget. Zero fluff in this video with amazing pacing, imagery, and information (those comparisons were gold). Seriously.... 10/10, Caleb!

Thank you so much for the love and appreciation Mitchell! Really does mean a lot.
Just want to say how much I appreciate how much work it takes to create these videos considering you have to research all the options, buy and test products, build the set up, and film the video... Lots of dedicated time!

Absolutely love these videos! So awesome man
I needed this video 2 weeks ago lmao, love it!
Wow, so impressed with this setup. Results are amazing! Also, I just love that you do these kinds of videos. To have someone put together this type of setup and show how it all works is a huge shortcut / hack. I have many of the components already and can easily imagine putting this together with my existing gear!
Wow, that lighting setup is amazing bang-for-the-buck! 💡

Awesome job Caleb. You are helping a lot of people with this. Professionally presented, easy to understand, you hit all the questions and the cost that everyone is concerned about. Thank you for Creating content like this that can help relate to beginners and middle class. You have contributed a big part in this changing world. Really appreciate what your doing, thank you.
Thank you for doing what you do, you know that your audience has a ton of sources on electronic devices, what we often don't have is a life saver like you when it comes to finding a decent desk or a nifty support solution
For the $13 device, if one pulls up the "Configure Video" Properties dialog in OBS there are adjustments for Brightness, contrast Hue and Saturation controls that allow me to fine tune the video without having to make adjustments in camera. I've been using it for almost a year now with no regrets.
I absolutely love watching your different setups and builds, they’re so creative and gives me so much inspiration for my own :D
Amazing job!
just want to say thank you for all these video desk setup videos. Like previous comments mentioned, these videos take a LOT of work. Thank you for your content.
That’s an impressive all in one desk setup, I have the same microphone and I’m definitely getting that pop filter, I’ve been looking for a compact one for ages! Thanks man 🙌
Well thought out video for this particular use case. DSLR Video Shooter is king of these desk setups.
Thank you for inspiring me with your great affordable studio ideas!
Awesome content as always, Caleb. Loved this video.
You're a real inspiration Caleb, I continuously learn so much from you. By checking all item alternatives and brainstorming, you save lots of people from overspending and lead them into better, cheaper setups, so thank you at least on my behalf. I've never done any video work before. Still, I'm building a homestudio for my wife mostly thanks to your videos. Two days ago, I bought our first light, a 150W CoB light. Then I remembered in your diffusion video, you mentioned closer you're to light, softer the light becomes. Then I rewatched your ultimate video studio again and confirmed your Light Dome II is right next to your table, only 10-15 cm difference. I thought to myself, what if I mount a softbox to the table with these new table clamp mounts and searched all over the internet and nobody has done it. I thought of commenting and asking under your ultimate video studio link(since you would be only one that's crazy enough to try this) but after seeing more than 1 thousand comments I said noway you'll see it :b But 1 day after this, you publish a video where you mount a softbox on a desk :D. So, I'm writing this comment. Thank you very much again. And a question if you ever read this meaninglessly long comment, do you think if I can mount a CoB light and a softbox instead of the led mat or would it be too bulky for the mount and table width?
I love that microphone! It's affordable, avoids background noise, and gets the job done! Thanks for the video!
Just want to thank you for the fantastic guides and reviews! I'm a photographer with no video experience and have learned a ton! Right now I'm just looking to up my game for Teams video calls in my home office, so your lighting suggestions have been super helpful. I'm going to start with one of these panels and integrate it with a small softbox.
Amazing video Caleb! So useful for many KZreadrs! 👊😎 Bonus tip. If you own the original M50 which don't have clean HDMI and want to live stream you can press the info-button until the screen is clean from any information. Now only the auto focus box is shown. To get rid of it, switch to manual settings and refocus. Done! 😀
I'm always amazed by the quality and accuracy of your videos! Thumbs up!!
Phenomenal, as always: I've already assembled your "monster" on casters now I'll go for this too! Thank you.
I've seen and enjoyed a number of your videos, but this one is remarkable. Perfect explanations, remarkable gear selection. All well thought out. Great job. Subscribed.
Thanks for this! I needed a kick in the butt to get a new lighting setup for my desk. This DIY, duct tape approach is straight up my alley 😃
Exceptional video as always. Thank you for the time and dedication you put into videos like these.
The Setup King strikes again.. Bravo. I’m not even in the market but I always love these videos.
Dude I love how much thought goes into these!
It needs a ton of research and hard work to come up with something like this, thanks for the simple and superb set up, small time film makers like me really needs useful information like this. Appreciate it a lot.
7:15 that dolly zoom! Bro is KING of b reel
love it. Simple, cost effective, straightforward
Love your vids Caleb. Always inspiring! Keep it up!
Hey ! Thanks to you I start to use my camera again after long time !!! Thank you!!!👍
That lighting tip is gold!!
youre the reason i want to live, Caleb! Youre videos just make my every next day worth living!! Youre so awesome. while i just finished one desk setup i see this new video ha ha ha so cool!!
Fantastic job! I've been looking for a good, functional desk set-up and this is everything I wanted and more. Hopefully, I can get this up and running with the spare a6500 I've got lying around now 🤞
Great video as always, got a few inspirations for improving my video conference setup! Keep up the great work!
I love these. Even though I can't (or don't need to as I have some of the gear) buy the whole setup often there are pieces that I can that improve my setup a lot.
For the 15$ capture card you just should change the Video Range to Full and you'll get the same picture as you have from CamLink. Unfortunately the OBS sets Partial Video Range by default for this card. But fortunately you can change it manually if you press the small gear.

this is amazing! Definitely giving me a TON of ideas!
Thanks for this. Ok take parts of this and have a killer set up with what I already have.
Wow! A lot of cool things, but a side note is I loved the shot near the end where you turn off the light and get up from the desk. It really made the "story" look/feel real!😃

OMYGOODNESS your Audio Quality in this video is AWESOME!!!! Im sitting here saying to myself, "Is He Using The Same Mic That Is Connected To The Table?" Sounds GREAT!
I loved that you used the M50 for that. When I used the Viltrox speedbooster attached to a canon 85mm f1.8 with the M50 I got some amazing footage out of this camera.
Nice custom build as usual man! I'm definitely taking some pointers from this.
inspiration to my desk setup!
Brilliant! Thanks Caleb.
This is gold! Thank you
Awesome video Caleb!
You did it again! craaazy set up! :D
I appreciate you, Mr. Pike. I'm going to build a version that is a combination of this desk and the Ultimate Video Studio Desk. I like some of the options you have chosen on this desk, some on the other.
You have no idea how helpful this is (or maybe you do - 😉) The short summary of pros and cons of some of these items is the perfect springboard for my own research into what I'll eventually be going for; (the different lenses and their comparisons was particularly useful). Thank you.
Nicely Done. I need to go back and watch the other 'setup' videos for comparison.
Hi Caleb. It’s my first comment here. Hope you read it. 1. I own a Canon M50 and EF-M 22 f/2. Great budget combo. When I use it with EOS Webcam Utility, I get 720p resolution. So if anybody gets the camera might use 720p resolution. 2. FetHead is a great tool, but quite expensive. There is an alternative that works great, especially for cheap microphones, it’s called Klark Teknik CT1. I own it and it’s great.
I was hoping for a video like this
Awesome video! I might give this a go in the coming weeks when I start doing KZread again!
Thank you for including the side by side visual comparisons of the 15mm, 22mm, and 30mm lenses. I was leaning towards the Sony ZV-1 as my camera upgrade but seeing the Canon Mark 50ii with the 22mm lens has me seriously reconsidering!
Great setup. Thanks for the vid.
That is a supremely fantastic setup & very very affordable.
Always so helpful mate!

Bingo. 22mm lens. Exactly the info I was looking for. Thank you!
Well with i had seen this before dropping 20k following your other desk build lol (wish I was kidding) but that said thank you so much, having just got into video production your vids have helped me a ton and i literally built almost an exact replica of your ultimate desk (i went cheap on cable management but upgraded my cam to a7siii and using sony zv-1 as my overhead its pretty sweet) anyway thanks again your videos are literally THE BEST and mostly least bias i have seen out there.
Great advice thanks for sharing 🙏🏼
Wow ❤️ Addicted to watch these video
Nice job! valuable tips, thanks😃
That Behringer Xm8500 carried me for years! It so solid for the price. Especially for 16 year old minimum wage me who needed multiple mics, it's just such a good value. Also Klark has a fethead alternative for $30 for a more reasonable setup.
@matts5356
3 жыл бұрын
I use the Klark as a Fethead alternative - I’m not an expert but all the reviews suggest it’s just as good. I’ve been happy with it.
Nice job on this video! Thanks for sharing the info. During quarantine I tested several video converters I found the IOgear UpStream Video Capture Adapter has really color and bitrate for streaming. Ended up using my GH5 in VLOG and made a few custom LUTs in Resolve which can be applied in OBS and it looks oh so sweet.
Thank you! Great information!
It’s just so good!
That price tag is tough to swallow, but I like the inspiration that I am able to gather from your setup videos!
This is really dope!
you are great !!! love your stuff
Awesome content. Great set up.
I'm your fan for sure! 🤩
