I met Danny in person about a year ago. And he carried a presence of the LORD with him that was electric. I could feel the holy spirit manifesting right thru him. It was extraordinary. I think that's maybe happened once or twice in my life where I have felt God thru a person, even a brief encounter and Danny was one of them. I love you brother and I love your contribution to our kingdom family. My daughter listens to your music every day, and I don't mind it! 😂 Because I love it too. Keep writing from holy spirit and keep helping us as we grind it out here in the earth. I can't wait to meet you again and your beautiful wife that has gone on before us. God bless you again and again!!

Sperry411 i wouldnt say he is super famous now. i do agree he is great and his love for the lord is amazing. My church has a big place were one of his concerts was held and i went. it was free. Lots of people were there but only like 2000 people. meeting him was a huge inseration and getting to talk to him helped.

Man, I remember that! As my husband and I was watching this, he was dying from ALS. He lost his fight in 2010. He inspired me.

Danny Gokey’s clearly one of the best singers that Idol has to offer! Hands down!

I've recently had the opportunity to work with Danny. I've been blessed to work some legendary vocalists in my time… He is truly one of them. What's more, he is a man of character and an amazing Human Being.

Novella Glass I know that he has a horrible singing voice and that he kept trying to milk his wife’s death for views. That’s all I need to know. That alone was appalling. We’ve all had tragedies in our lives, he’s not the only one.

I lost my wife on March 25th '16 at age 36, Danny's song Tell your heart to beat again has me in tears every time I hear it. The night I found my wife not breathing and no pulse I wish i could have told her to tell her heart to beat again!

And thru his grief little does he know his music helped me thru my grief when I lost my son and husband 9 months ago . To this very day I’m still grieving but so thankful to have the Lords music to get me thru each day. Thank you Danny .

Danny's voice has only improved with time. Love his spirit and passion...and his music.

I heard Danny's "Love God Love People" and went absolutely crazy with excitement. I can't get that song off my head. Seriously, guys, Danny has so many songs that capture that part of the brain that appreciates music. For real! Who would have known what he went through to get to where he is at today? I can't even believe that he lost a wife at such a young age. My sympathy to you, my music legend. I'm a fan for life!

Just discovered his music a few months ago and man, it means so much more now that I know where he’s come from 💕

My son who is 13 now will always remember his first concert, watching him sing for our church. It was Easter 2016 I believe, and he still talks about it.

This is refreshing that someone could be so transparent and weeping doesn't make you a less of a man because Jesus wept! And finally talent and character-awesome! We have gotten way to preconditioned to all talent, appearances and abilities in the natural almost to the exclusion of any character, integrity and principles.

Anime Central, I really can't recall a man named "Jueseus" in the Bible anyway- throughly unrelated to the core of the matter. Though it looks similar to the word 'Jesus' you must completely have the wrong one in mind.

I'm nearly 40 and starting back to school in 2 weeks. Terrified of letting my family down, letting me down, and failing again. I've failed or given up at everything in life that got too hard and live with endless regret. You inspire me Danny, I cant imagine how hard your roads been. Don't be discouraged. I initially took animation in college and now I do HVAC and love what I do. God always has a plan and he'll bring you where you need to be even when you stumble along the way. The purpose for his doings always comes to light at some point to help you understand. God bless

Man that high note he hits at 1:32 is so money. It doesn't sound forced at all and it's perfect. Probably less than 2% of good singers can go up that fast and stay on pitch.

Danny not sure if you will see this but your song “Just Haven’t Seen It Yet” got me through a tough time last year when my dad was dying of cancer. This song expresses how I felt as I watched my best friend enter into eternal life. I still cry every time I hear your song. God bless you!
