Next time please show more close up shots of the printing blocks. Any good mobilephone camera is able to focus on small details. Thank you for the good presentation.

Many thanks for the video. I bought a set of engraving tools and a (pricey) block to try to transition from lino cutting. But I had no Idea what I was doing and made a pig's ear of the block and maybe some of the tools too. Should have watched this before I started, but I'm at least inspired to try again.

I doubt you've done lasting damage to your tools. Perhaps a short film on sharpening them might be good?

@@chrispig1920 Thanks for replying! I'm indeed being a bit melodramatic, but I'd take all the help I can get. I already appreciate this video, which demystifies a lot and makes everything seem much more accessible than other videos I have seen. Many thanks!

Hello sir and young to become great filmmaker lady . Thank you so much for your very good work. Could you please give me a list of engraving tools with their width that you use most often. Thank you sir. Vincent, from France

Your videos are greatly appreciated Mr. Pig, thank you. May I ask, what brand of tools do you recommend for a beginning graver, when I say beginning, I mean as in have never tried the medium but very interested in it, I do linocut now. Thank you again.

I've only just noticed this comment. Easy answer, EC Lyons of New York, they're excellent tools. It helps though if you can get to a supploer and try them out before buying. Chris

Okay...can the camera person get a tripod? They ought to be like a fly on the wall to part of the program...

Ahh, the camera person was doing her best. I think she did a good job being new to this and only thirteen. We're learning together and now have a tripod.
