The second version brought in more of the colonial New England feel. The green brought out the beautiful woodwork, I wasn't sure about painting the ceiling but I loved it. It elevated the room. Great idea!

I have the same colour of green in my living room and dining rooms. Have an accent wall in each room that is a cream colour. Must say I love it! Do have to repaint it sometime soon, since we’ve had the colour for 10 years, needs a sprucing up! lol! I love how you thrift, or buy nothing new! I feel the same way! I think things were made to last, especially furniture, back then. I love the colour scheme and the things you have gotten over the years to redecorate. It’s exactly what I do, as well. And if I no longer want it, I simply sell it on e bay, or give it to my charity shop ( similar to a goodwill shop in England).

AMAZING!!! Of course I watched the entire video. I just can't get over how you set just the right music for each portion of the video. Now I'm at minute 22 and you're going over each placemat with just the right timing as you waltz over each one. You are so creative!!! And of course the room is wonderful. I feel like I've been 'transported'. Continued Blessings! PS Well I like both tables but you're right, the second definitely looks more 'old world'...

Least favorite doing the trim and taping.....Very pretty!!!!!

After all that you found the right color green it looks awesome I also live in a Victorian inspired house with lots of medium to dark wood molding around the windows and doors and solid hardwood floors in the whole entire main floor etc. lots of wood the green looks awesome with it

My pantry area, my enclosed breezeway, and my main bathroom are all painted sage green. It's my favorite color.

I love big tables too and was hoping for a larger one… this one is sort of temporary until I find the “perfect” table!

WOW! You nailed the New England/Nautical esthetic. The warmth of the wood dining table and chairs took the room over the top! Adding the brick detail to the mantle was the perfect touch. Loved the layering of the mirrors and oh my goodness, THE SHIP! You have exquisite taste and you are so inspiring!!!

Downsizing and upgrading your central element drew my eye to the soft wingbacks with their puffy pillows, making me feel this entire, gorgeous room just “wrap right around me”. Your total transformation is stunning !

😢 my least favorite part of painting is the cutting in I don't like to do that I love to roll. We did our master bedroom in Green in our big home and it was absolutely striking it made me happy to look at the walls every day. Meaning of our Furnishings were from England where we were stationed in the Air Force they were old and gorgeous and had many many beautiful stories behind them I'm sure. Your dining room is going to be so breathtaking I'm so happy for you I have missed your postings but surely understand how busy you are grateful to have you back love watching you and Cam work together what a great team my husband and I love to work together Jannelle from Utah

The room makeover looks amazing. I love the color and warmth of the wood. The first table looked good but when you changed to the natural wood table you could instantly feel the difference. You can always keep. This table until you find a larger one and then use the table in another room. Love all the decorating!

Like everyone else... the 2nd wooden table feels more authentic to your home and this room. Love the green paint. It feels very calming and cozy. I don't know why, after watching so many of your videos... that I just noticed the gorgeous dark wood built in next to the arched opening. Where have I been??? As a lifelong collector of all things blue and white... I love the way its styled.

I always get a smile when I see you have posted. I know that it was a big step to do green. But it turned our great. Your stagging is on cue. I am a Danish blue girl. But your music sounds like my Son In Law. He is from Dublin , Ireland . So It made me miss them. I really like the second table. I can see it is a little small. But it looks good. I have watched and your Mom. go antiquing . You have more nice places to go than we do. Enjoy your Mom. Mine has only been gone 4 years. but it doesn't get easier. I should add.
