I’m so happy you reviewed this. Brows are my first step, and they make such a difference! I used to try every new one that came out until I discovered the Diorshow Brow Styler. It has an ultra fine point that doesn’t break, and the color “universal” works perfectly for me.

I had my brows done 2 years ago (powder brows, similar to microblading but a softer look) so I don't need to fill in anymore, I just need to use a brow tint to cover the greys in between tinting, but you did a great job with this product, it looks really nice, and I like the color very much!

Hi lovely Rebecca !! Brows definitely frame the face and complete the overall look . You can definitely get away with this shade . I would definitely try this pencil as I live her eyeliners . I’m currently using Tarte sketch and set it’s so easy and fuss free .🤗💕

Nice review beautiful Rebecca! I actually like this color on you! Eyebrows definitely define our face and like you said, you don't even need makeup. Just eyebrows and lip color/gloss and you're good to go. I'm very interested in trying this product. Thanks so much for reviewing! ❤😘

Thank you! I have really sparse brows, using a serum to try to grow them back, but will try this one because I am such a fan of VBB. Glad to hear it’s not quite as soft as the kajal liners. The darker color looks good on you!

I got to tell you, Judy, that is the disadvantage in doing a first impression. The brand says it’s soft like the Kajal liners but I did not at all find that to be the case. It’s got a nice waxy feel to it. I suppose they just meant ease-of-use?

Brows are definitely the frame of the face. I always do mine first, then do the rest of my makeup around it. I love Benifit brow products for mine, and i love the Huda Beauty bombbrows. I've been through multiple pencils and never broke one, i really do love that pencil. I just wish it had more product in it

Debbie! You know from my videos that I apply make up like a rhinoceros. So that’s clearly why I break the Huda pencil. There’s a rhino somewhere feeling unfairly singled out.

It’s a good one and I’m kind of liking the accidental dark shade

I’ve been using the Patrick Ta pencil and like it. I also have had good luck with the Gucci powder pencil. The only problem with the Gucci is it’s not waterproof. My brows are quite dark but I never choose the deepest shade. I have some spots that have thinned that I fill in. I have never had carved out brows. I tweeze them myself. I like the looks of this pencil. It’ll be worth considering in the future. Yes, I think the dark brown pencil is a bit too dark but it’s passable. I’m glad you chose to do this review.❤️

Hey Rebecca- a good brow product is indispensable! I use 3 different ones! Urban decay brow blade for fine work, Tarte sketch n set for fill and hold and sometimes one from Benefit too! If this VB one is heavier like her eyeliners- I’m not sure I would like that in my brows- I have sparser brows than you and have to be careful when it comes to consistency of the product .. but I agree- good brows are everything!!

You know, Laura, I got that information from the website. Where they say it is the same consistency as the liners. But I don’t find it that way at all. I actually find it much gentler and a bit waxier, in a good way. To describe something as waxy seems negative but for a brow product it’s good.

I would like to try this. I really struggle with my brows! I think my brows are ok but because of aging they need more filling in. For years I just used Mac Brun eyeshadow in a few spots and it worked well. I’ve bought so many brow pencils , gels etc. trying to improve. I just got Benefit’s new Goof Proof brow powder. I’m looking forward to trying that. I’m wondering if I’m better with powders! I do like Mac Velux Brow Liner but my first one fell apart very quickly. I repurchased and hope it doesn’t break because I like the product. With a lot of brow pencils, my problem is them fading away during the day.

Hello Margaret! I find, with brow products, it's totally formula preference. I, for instance, like the feel of pencils. Sounds like you enjoy a good powder. TOTALLY just preference. Stick to what works. No sense breaking what's not broken. ❤️ I find this pencil really lasts. Good one to try when you want to shake things up.

My fav eye brow product is the PUR 4 in 1 eye brow pencil : it has a micro brow pencil on one end and a bigger triangular on the other plus a brush on the cap!! It is really good and no one ever talks about it.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes PUR has a lot of really nice products but they're just never talked about. They also have a bronzer in the 4 in 1 line in light that is a beautiful neutral bronzer. It's got a very nice easily blend able formula. And their skincare is great too.

Rebecca, brows are hardly a beauty highlight for me but you know I simply have to watch all of your videos! When a mere youngster, I had plenty of brows but never big bushy ones. It's just a matter of genetics what we end up with. I never over plucked either, only the odd stray hair. I've never had enough there that I needed to have them professionally done. I like to think that in my own part of the world that I invented Brow Gel. Before anyone was even applying anything except for pencil to brows, I had bought a clear mascara when first released, late 80s?, that did nothing for my lashes, yet worked very well in my brows as I wasn't going to waste it. At this time, there were no brow products around. Another Aquarian before their time! Unfortunately, I don't have enough left to warrant any gels and our brows will naturally thin over time, so over plucking is definitely not recommended! I'm at the point where all I do is to run some brow pencil, Dior's Kabuki Brush Liner & Burberry's Liner that are both thin but flattened, over the brow with the emphasis on shaping the top like you did. There is no way that you'll ever catch me drawing little individual brow hairs onto my face! That will be the day I toss it all in from frustration. Alot said from one who has no interest in brow products!🇦🇺💖🕊

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty We're on the same page. No need to waste so much time altering our faces when all we should be doing is emphasising certain features. I don't have the patience either. It's only a brow pencil for me and that's it. They don't tend to move during the day to warrant any other product.💖

I currently use Huda Beauty brow pencil for the great color (most browns in brow pencils are so warm!) and the fact that it’s very thin so it doesn’t go everywhere. I haven’t had any trouble with it breaking, thank goodness. Now that I know it’s a thing, mine will probably break tomorrow! 🤪 I don’t do carved out brows. I do shape them up and fill in gaps and use a clear Benefit gel to hold them in place. I don’t like pencils that are too stiff but I don’t like them too creamy, either. Even though this VB pencil may be too creamy for me, I want to try one. The shape looks like I could do a fill in kind of thing quickly. I’m ordering one. Plus it gives me an excuse to get another eyeliner and perhaps a new Lid Luster. I mean if I’m placing an order anyway….😂 I honestly don’t think this brow color is too dark for you. I think it looks great on you and youthful! (I’m now going to search your channel for more VB videos to see if there is anything else I might want to add to my order!)

I don’t have a problem with the Huda Bomb Brows breaking either, but I only twist it up a tiny bit when I do my brows. It’s currently my favourite brow pencil. It’s funny so many people have a problem with it but we don’t x

I have no idea what to do with my brows😂 I go from getting my brows waxed or threaded. I never really did anything to them until maybe 5 years ago. I thought getting them waxed/threaded was enough. My routine is to apply my foundation and concealer, let that settle in then use my spoolie ( I got this neat little brow brush set from WG…I know why does someone have a neat little brow set and has no idea what to do with her brows😂), then I take my brow pencil (either Benefit or Huda) and line around my upper and lower brow. Fill in, and voila. That’s something new because previously I would just brush them then just fill them in. It’s funny because watching a lot of beauty KZread, content creators ALWAYS do their brow routine off camera. I’m like, come back I need to see what you’re doing😂😂😂 I truly didn’t know brows were as critical as they are in the beauty process until one day (maybe 5 years ago) watching Samantha March and she commented how folks commented on her brows and that she wasn’t doing them right! I’m like, what’s wrong with her brows and WHAT should she be doing to them! 😂😂 So right now, I have a wonderful brow person at Ulta and I LOVE how she does my brows. Now, I have purchased all the brow things ( powder, tint, etc) and I just stick with the Benefit pencil for the most part. I have the Huda one but that’s almost gone and I don’t think I’ll repurchase. I still use Anastasia’s pencil from time to time. As you can tell from eyebrow rambling, I’m lost. Do I try to make my brows fluffy/bushy, not quite sure how to do that. Should they have that laminated look? Who knows. I didn’t know there were professional tweezers!

You are not alone! Seriously. You are not alone. I have never understood the amount of time that people put into their brows, the precision it takes, and the whole brow look. I tried laminating them and it just looks silly. I think I get them good and then they always move out of place. The only thing That the brow confused can rely on is somebody who shapes the Brows well. Mine will always still be uneven and so I just add a little bit of darkness with the pencil where I need to. I can never do an accurate brow and yet, when I’ve had them professionally done with make up, not just tweezing, they look amazing. But it is nothing that I can copy at home. I just kind of fill them in the best I can. But I do have to tell you that a good tinted fiber brow gel seems to be even better than anything else. But they can become messy and that puts me off. Basically just all of that to tell you that Brows are definitely a mystery and impossible to make completely even. It’s all about the shaping. It really is.

It does seem as though folks spend a great deal of time on their brows and I’m always left wondering what they are doing that is so town consuming. I think my brows are shaped well. Thank goodness for an amazing brow stylist!! I’ve tried those tinted brow gels and those can go left VERY quickly and look super intense!! Someone mentioned in a video to start at the middle or tail of the brow because when folks start at the part closest to the nose, they end up applying too much and it’s hard to recover. Been there🤦🏾‍♀️ so many choices. I know I’m a broken record with this but too many choices are paralyzing for me😂😂😂 I know its just brows but I’m thinking should I get all the brow things or do I need more than just the pencil? Should I use a powder too?

Hello Rebecca, my brows are very sparse so I get a powder brow done once a year.I use a little bit of pencil if I want them a little darker.I love the ABH pencil and a little highlighter under the brow.This pencil looks great !! Looks great dear Rebecca, i think you can handle this colour perfect!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩I lost hairs of my brows and lashes in winter, i believe i shared, used lots of Revitalash Sensitive Lash Serum for the lashes, much better, and use Revitabrow as well, also much better! My brows were always not completely full, but ok, but only like them when they are still little bit fluffy no matter what is in fashion, so i tweeze, well, since covid, since last autumn winter i hardly tweeze, and when i see a gap still, when i tweeze a little bit, i fill it with a my Gucci pencil in a lighter colour than my actual hair colour (dark brown when not colouring) and my actual brow colour, because i'm more pale than you, for instance, it's mostly a taupe kind of shade than that makes me feel comfy. Have that pencil, before the Gucci one i had one from Dior in a sort of sandy/taupy shade, when there is not a red undertone in the colour i prefer a lighter colour it really looks crazy when i make my brows to dark. But on you, you have more colour and you let them tweeze, it looks absolutely perfect, very beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for another great video, wishing you a wonderful day!!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘

I can do it better, but a bit more natural and fluffy i feel more comfy with. It's, like many other makeup products so different what brow makes you feel comfy. Well, when my brows were also almost gone together with my lashes begin January after covid last fall, it does not give much confidence, i can say. But making all the stripes, like Victoria can do, and lots of KZreadrs here, pfff....it's not me, i'm not to lazy for it, but it's just not me, i like on my face a more natural fluffy brow and prefer mainly serums and sometimes a pencil or a bit TF or Dior fibre gel in transparant, that's me. But somebody else looks great with totally other brows, it's really personal. What what Wayne said about that they frame the face, i felt that in January and when for a good serum very quick!
