Haha yeh let grandparents take care of my lil one for a sec while i film a mini video bahaha. My grandmother is also here today and a relative from abroad, so it was nice to be able to combine the stress that is getting a review up but also family. Also.... i feel i need to disclose i go to my parents house quite often. 🙈NL is sooo tiny we tend to always live close by default 🤣 . I know in bigger countries like CA, AUS and US this is not always a given. But you can drive from north to the south i believe in 4 to 5 hours. You'll hear 30 different dialects doing so haha coz we might be small but for some reason we all sound different.

Sonia I love your new back ground! I hope you’re having a relaxing time at your parents’. I wouldn’t mind trying Baby Blade to replace my Bonne Brow when I finish it. The spoolie on WA is a pet peeve. I keep forgetting I have to twist it and keep tugging it open. Lol. Great review!

Yehh, the bonne brow spoolie is a "either you love it or you hate it" thing. I personally am not a fan. I lose mine on my makeup table all the time, haha. I also wish i could sharpen the bonne brow tip somehow. I tried last time and actually broke mine! So that was like 10 euros worth pf brow product that fell off. Lastly, the shelf life for VBB is double the WA one. For clean beauty products, i tend to take it a little more seriously since it could gp rancid faster. No need to rush though. VBB has a sale at the end of the year. So its nice to plan for.

So lovely that you were at your parents, hope you enjoyed it! I feel like I'm not really into brow products because my eyebrows are quite light and also very cool toned so sometimes it's hard to find a shade that isn't too dark and not too warm, but so far my favorite product is the Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil because I love how tiny it is just for small touch-ups I am curious though about the new VBB pencil because I love her products so much so I'm excited to see what you think. Brow products are not an exciting purchase haha but its nice to find one that works for you. VBB one is more warm toned than i anticipated. It works for me but if warmth is something you are concerned about i would proceed with caution. I do like the formula and the small pencil tip. So.far i am liking it a lot!

@@sonia.butler I know, it definitely doesn't excite me at all to buy them haha, to me it's like concealer or just those "necessary" makeup items that feel kind of boring but funnily enough are also some of the hardest to get right. Oh that's good to know thank you because I don't do well with warm tones, my brows are really cool toned so anything warm looks super weird, but I'm glad you're enjoying the product, hopefully, they'll extend their shade range at some point and include some cooler tones 🤞

I bought WA slate bonne brow it was the wrong color went with bark. Think you’d feel the same. 🤗 I‘ve grown to like the detachable spoolie.

I have seriously tried loving on it. I like the formula but i personally enjoy my spoolie attached. But i admit its a personal preference. I also like a smaller Pencil coz i am quite a heavy handed person. With the WA i often have very thick filled in brows haha. I admit that the formula is good though. I think the most shocked i am is that the shelf life is double from VBB😳

@@sonia.butler wow yeah I missed that. I still use AB brow wiz if I’m going to use a small pencil. That’s what I used for years. I guess. Heck the elf brow pencil is almost a dupe for WA Bonne brow and I enjoy that one too.

Online the VB swatches look so warm. Did you find the them true to real life? I have have fair olive skin, dark brown neutral dark brown hair; VB darkest color looks like it would go little too russet on me. I was going to go WA, because colors look great. I appreciate the info, maybe I’ll skip both. Great review.

Yeh its warmer than i expected, honestly. Personally i don't think it translated too warm when applying it only when swatching it. Although if a brown hue is not your thing maybe i can direct you to the Gucci powder Brow Pencil, i had mine in the shade Brun. Worth seeing reviews on it. A powder pencil formula and they have more taupe shades.
