I love how shy and nervous she is, and how steady Albert is. He was Victoria's rock, best friend, confidante and partner for 20 years.

He was my all that "& my mother I might say?" Queen Victorias diaries. Often a person in love & married becomes infanilized to some degree or other.
If and when they continue with the Victoria series on PBS Masterpiece I would love to see Victoria Hamilton step in as the older Victoria.. we know she can do it

They had a very passionate nature in bed & that's the only reason she had so many children. They did love eachother & Albert didn't want to just be a house husband. He did more in his time for this nation than Victoria, she was happy to let him hold the reins while she was pregnant & in between when she wasn't. Albert did nothing that this nation didn't benefit from. 1st The Great Exibition which bought 6 million visitors in 5 mnths. He did what everyone claimed would fail. He worked himself to death in a way. Albert was Victorian before the word had been used. Far more so than Victoria. Merry Christmas all. 🎄

@@ro-fy1vd It wasn't bs. They were born within 12 weeks of eachother & had the same midwife to deliver both. It was long forseen by Alberts farther that they'd make a good marriage with the then early German states. Albert did love Victoria as she was besotted by him. She loved him more than the children but that's because she was only 18 as Queen & just out of her mothers bedroom. Then after 2 yrs she meets attractive Albert who's courtly in all ways. She had to propose to him & he gladly emotionally accepted as he wrote in his early journal. Victorias love was always the stronger/beefier love. Albert needed to do things & show love to his children more than Victoria. But they loved eachother. No one can say they didn't. Just Victoria had been too sheltered all her life unto Albert. Can't anyone see why she feel so deeply for him?
