I think that's Mike Pope on bass (I dont know who Dave Pope is, referenced in the description). Mike Pope is one of the greatest bass playerd on the planet.. played in Chick Cora's Elektric Band... among others.. So, yeah, you'd have to be a monster to be the other bass player with Vic Wooten.

Yes, Mike is playing the 6 string bass. Dave, who is also an amazingly talented musician, is Mike's brother. This was at Dave's house.

These are all friends coming together to celebrate the wedding of their friends daughter . The musicians were there for love, not money.

That Victors good friend, Mike Pope. Mike played with Chick Corea and teaches at the Berkeley College of Music. He is an outstanding musician.
