    Don't act like he just started his career, the kid has been playing professional basketball in a fiba style of basketball that leaves less spaces especially french top league who is very physical more than many others europeans leagues and that since he was 16, he's like Luka few years ago he's much advanced than a player who came from the American youth development system.

    Newsflash: Being tall makes a difference in basketball. Having skill and being tall...good lord. Hopefully he holds up--injury seems likely with that frame. But his mechanics are good, so here's hoping he's durable.

    Imo I think he should find a way to just avoid plays that could injure him, him and curry aren’t the same in biomechanics, but learning from him how to avoid ankle injuries would already help. But then there’s avoid actual foot injuries which idk how he would avoid. I’m pretty sure every 7’3” player or taller throughout history has almost always had a foot injury rather than any other injury that leads to constant problems and ultimately a early retirement. So hopefully him and the spurs are finding some way to avoid the very possible foot injury that’s has happened to all his predecessors. I’m really hoping he stays healthy since I wasn’t a hater, but not someone riding the hype, and after seeing his interviews I really hope out of most players under the age of 25, he succeeds.

    I thought he was “Shawn Bradley “ but NO his body is actually closer to a Young Kareem. Yao Ming & Ralph Sampson already had solid bodies but I think the weight wasn’t proportionate. I think at that height , body parts and how much they actually weigh Matters. Kareem had bigger legs and glutes with a skinny top frame. But I think Victor has the advantage in that he’s sort of Light all around and everything is proportionate with with exception of his long arms.

    Kristaps is also similar body type but he had much more weight and he’s legs was tree trunks compared to Victors. When he suggested that these fat Americans “skinny up” I think he was actually alluding to something bigger. We see Joel and Zion and how much being overweight can cause injuries. This dude probably got scientist studying his body. He should be Good but we will see.

As he gets stronger and in NBA Shape he will be Unstoppable! It will literally take two or three players to slow him down and the other rookies on the Spurs can shoot! Spurs have two or three new Players who will have a Huge Impact now and in the long run! Happy to see him Play with the Greatest Coach of All-Time! He also drive relentlessly like Giannis Antetecounmpo. My Favorite players are Giannis Antetecounmpo, LeBron James, Steph Curry, & Victor Wembanyama. Two are young and LeBron is 39, Steph is 35. He is not going to play like Jokic, he is far faster and taller. But he will get assists. All of a sudden people saying KD...no, he is much more athletic and creative, much more of a lob and dunk threat, a much bigger problem on defense. He can dunk it on your head, but he can also finish at the rim like a guard, with the left handed scoop shot.

  • @IlluminatiSecretsRevealed
    @IlluminatiSecretsRevealed9 ай бұрын

    Why did Ramona Shelburne tell that lie? Victor Wemby is not the 1st guy his size with that type of skillset and athleticism. No I'm not even referring to Kristaps Porzingis who came before Wemby. I'm referring to 7'4 RALPH SAMPSON who was actually just as athletic, but stronger. He had handles too. Obviously, he wasn't shooting 3s or had a stepback, but his athletic ability at his size at both ends of the court was the 1st of its kind. If she had said Wemby is the 1st since Ralph Sampson then that would've been more accurate. No respect for legends of the past, smh! Yall need to watch his old highlights to get my point. He played with Hakeem the Dream for awhile before injuries cut short his Hall of Fame career. He did play in the NBA Finals once, in 1986 but lost to the Celtics. Btw, it was his buzzer beater that knocked the Lakers out in the Western Conference Finals. Ralph had a jumpshot, he just didn't shoot 3s.

    Size especially length with talent matters in basketball. With Wemby's size just having a good shooting motion is huge. Wemby can be an all star if he can just shoot 75%+ from the FT line. Yao Ming could not jump and was the slowest player in the league but he had a good shooting touch. Wemby will also get better as his teammates and coaches learn how to play with him. All the timing, running thru and fast break lanes are all slightly different because he is so exceptional and they have never played with a player like him. They will find that if he is on this side of the court just go to this spot and he can pass over even 7 foot players.

    @@kristianpomida8259 A ton? You mean so the Spurs can use him like Jokic or Duncan? That would be a criminal use of Wemby's talents, IMO. He needs to move without the ball, face up, take guys off the dribble. Basically, a more explosive and quicker version of Durant...

    Woah, so that young kid is practicing offense, just like normal, right? THEN you're telling me he starts doing the same thing, only with DEFENSE!?!? That is so cool but also frickin' so nuts, too. Ya know, I think most players probably just assume it's prohibited and don't give it a second thought Edit: I've been researching pretty much nonstop for the last 48 hours, and after a bunch of twists and turns, multiple dead-ends, and countless roadblocks, I found out it's actually totally legal to practice defense (as long you're officially active on a current NBA roster, of course)
