I agree, I just cancelled all my channels with Comcast and went with their cheapest plan ($125 a month), and only access to KZread, Tubi, Freevee, Xumo, Pluto, and couldn't be happier, plenty of movies and content.

I was able to buy a fairly new car, help my parents with house bills and had money leftover to save. What the hell happen 50 + years later. Who and what caused this enormous inflation. The only explanation is that banks and corporations felt they needed to make more money faster. The biggest problem has been the banks and corporations started charging more and left the majority of the population behind and slid backwards Further and further

I studied Latin and ancient history in my native Italy. Now living in the USA for the last 20 years, I see striking parallels between the USA in 2023 and the Roman Empire in 400 A.D. Victor is a Smart guy, his book Mexifornia is a must read for anyone who has a stake in California's survival. But, he's made a career out of blaming other's for issues that neither party has been able or willing to address or solve other than sound bites and platitudes. The problems we're experiencing didn't start in 2020.

Excellent interview, gentlemen. Listening to VDH is an acceptable excuse for putting off other obligations. I consider it as making an investment in myself. And I'm always hoping, "Maybe they'll ask him some farming questions this time."

He doesn't seem to understand electoral history very well. By this point I've gotten used to hearing conservatives say things like "X is the most radically leftist since Y." X and Y are always pretty much interchangeable depending on whom they want to slam at the moment. But it's not just that conservatives are confused; they're wrong. If Franklin Roosevelt was such a radical thinker, why did he win a near-record number of voters in 1932? (And more to the point, why did he win by an even larger margin in 1936, by which time Americans knew full well how "radical" he was?) Why did Lyndon Johnson, whose Great Society was even more "radical" than the New Deal, also win by a landslide? Why did so many people vote for Obama (twice!) and Biden, if they're such treacherous leftists? It makes no sense. George McGovern, Walter Mondale, and Michael Dukakis used to be held up as prime examples of why left-wing Democrats supposedly couldn't win, but they never seem to be brought up anymore. Also, after FDR was so successful, why did the Socialist Party of America say that American socialism was pretty much dead from that point on? Why has "socialist" itself been a toxic word since the 1940s? That doesn't sound like a great left-wing PR victory to me! And how can anyone, by any stretch of the imagination, think of Big Tech as "revolutionary" leftists? How would those capitalist titans benefit from either a slide into complete anarchy or a soviet-based dictatorship?

I was very interested to hear VDH say how Eisenhower’s warning about the military industrial complex was a CONSERVATIVE trait. This is reflected in George Washington’s warning about involvement in foreign entanglements.

For the first time ever I am going to slightly disagree with VDH. I think the Trump attacks on DeSantis has exposed a weakness in DeSantis. He appears to be waffling on whether to run and is starting to crumble in front of the media when asked about a presidential campaign. The earlier bravado is missing and that bravado he got from Trump in the first place. Trump has an uncanny ability to expose the weakness in his opponents. Also, the fight with Disney is not over and it will look like DeSantis picked a fight with a much beloved icon even if they have become obnoxiously woke.

One video reveals DeSantis is funded by lobbyists. Is that true? What is his source of money? VDH has great knowledge of books and history but NOT psychology. I think he really is put off by what he says is Trump's "crudeness" He started that! Trump is needed for his ability and now his experience. He is proven, DeSantis is NOT. We don't need another young leader who will have to have years to get experience. Time is of the essence. VDH talks (teaches) well but does he know the world and the character of people like Trump? DeSantis is not tried and true like Trump. America be careful !!!! Experience is needed so much NOW and also a leader who is tough, who sticks and stays after a great 4 years!!!.

Learned of this man through Tucker. Both have taught me so much.
