City won an FA cup the year before Chelsea were even in existence lol Here is an interesting fact for you, MU are touted as the biggest club in the world (i vehemently disagree. I think it is RM followed by Barca) but in their entire history, MU spent 22 seasons in the second division. And over the same period of time (since they were in the EFL), City spent 24 seasons in the second division and 1 season in the 3rd division (while going though major financial turmoil). I am pretty sure the biggest clubs dont spend much time in lower divisions over their history, no? So this idea that City have been languishing in the second division for most of their existence (not saying you're saying that, some rival fans do) is objectively false. And when idiot rival fans, especially from MU, say City were always a poor team mostly in the second division, not only is it false, but it also proves just how ignorant they are of their own club's history since their beloved MU was down there only 2 seasons fewer than City. As a RM fan, I am sure you don't like MU fans saying how theyre the biggest club in the world etc. Now you have a little something to throw at them which should infuriate them :)
