Disrupt Decorum only affects the creatures in play not ones cast after. Olivie had no obligation to attack with the Goblin Welder or Sharding Sphinx as they were cast after and unaffected by it.

Oh thank you for this because the second Breya token created with Helm also had haste so that's why it didn't attack. Good catch!

Probably wouldn't have mattered, but Vincent actually missed two Runic Armasaur triggers from Guylaine cracking fetchlands. It triggers on both creature AND land abilities.

Vincent should have played the tapland turn 1, then turn 2 forest, tap forest for sol ring, tap sol ring and red mana for turn 2 Varchild. Sol Ring on turn 1 isn't always the best option.

I had no idea there was a feminine for the name Guy, that's so interesting. It's actually a very pretty name.

This game is a perfect example of why I don't actually like Vial Smasher that much, conceptually, as a card. Also holy cow that Helm of the Host lasted the entire game.

it's worth to note that, while wear//tear is cmc 3 in your hand and in the library, when only one half is cast, i.e. wear, its only cmc 1. basically if they have a 1 drop on top and a chalice on 2, you can wear//tear a counterbalance and the chalice and can't get countered by either.

By the way, Wear // Tear only has the CMCs of the cast parts while on the stack. Wear has CMC 2, Tear has CMC 1, and Wear and Tear has CMC 3. the combined CMC applies to fused spells and cards not on the stack.

I took my deck apart after a time, it just brought way too much agro (for good reason) People would hold out on counterspells and kill spells just for him.

I still do okay with omnath. If I let it get to later in the game, it draws out a lot of counters and hate since people get impatient. Meanwhile there I am with a ton of land.

Hey Andrew Andrew here asking you a question... Last game you uploaded one of the players had some tokens that looked like dry erase markers boards almost... I'm really interested in those. Did they purchase those or make them?

So Olivier had servo tokens for his other cards but no thopters for his own commander?

Omnath looked awesome this game, I guess I really never can shake off my Gruul roots I'm astonished at how that Helm lasted through the entirety of the game yet it had near to no impact in the end Whenever I see it played I feel like the game will end if it even sticks a single turn to a creature XD but that might be because I play with and against many combat-centric commanders with on-attack triggers

@@KyuuStarr Yep, that's why I assumed. Usually in my group, luckily I guess, we don't have a lot of mulligans but I often see in Muddstah's videos people starting with 6 or sometimes 5 cards.

We did partial Paris for years and I actually prefer it if you’re playing casual multiplayer so nobody gets land screwed and sits out the game. They are calling it the London mulligan now. Edit: I guess partial Paris and London are different. Paris is where you put those cards face down and draw the difference then shuffle your library. London is you draw 7 each time but before the game begins shuffle cards in your opening hand back into your deck 1 card for each time you mulligan.

Am I missing something, or has Olivier missed the fact that Breya has 3 abilities, and Guylaine was at 9?

What a cool game result. Temple of the False God is such an unplayable land. I didn’t really realize this until someone explicitly pointed it out to me - a basic or an Ancient Tomb is just always better.

Yup! It seemed so powerful when I first started playing EDH, but it was replaced in all of my decks the second or third time it came in and did nothing.

MTG Muddstah agreed - hitting 6 mana on turn 5 seems so tantalizing - then it doesn’t work out, again and again. I was glad Guylaine won after she had seemed so behind and your Vial Smasher hit her so many times.

Super happy Guylaine won after being beaten down so far so early!!! :)

I was always afraid to use Omnath as a commander because I don't like commanders that cost more than 5, and Omnath going back to the command zone means it doesn't get to Bolt anyone... but now I'm actually considering replacing Tana with Omnath as my Gruul Tokens commander deck. :)

Well, I buil a Angry Omnath deck, it has 45 lands and about 22 ramp spells. To me I will call a lie to anyone that say that he cost more than 4 because he has in the field that turn every danm game. Also, really fun commander

I think you forgot about the Sandwurm Convergence, because the dragon and the thopters could not attack XD, great game though, it was so fun

Sandwurm convergence prevents attacking its controller, so Olivier and Guylaine were free to duke it out.

It prob didnt matter but multani isnt a enter the battlefield its a on going effect so when u play or put a land in the graveyard she gets bigger even if she is on the field

Awesome game! Not that it really mattered but the not fused Tear you cast at 9:31 should have only dealt 1 damage to Guylaine with Vial Smasher because an unfused split card acts as a normal split card so the other half doesn't exist on the stack.

Wait, Guylaine attacked Vincent when he had Sandwurm Convergence on the field, but the elemental most certainly did not have flying. Also, he kept forgetting to creature Wurm tokens, and Guylaine destroyed the Sandwurm Convergence with Decimate, not Stolen Strategy
