When you paint, between coats , use a clear plastic tub to cover your parts between coats to keep bugs and dust from getting on the paint .

vht black has always been my go to, clean part really well or bead blast, paint and put in oven about 175 to 200 for about 10 minutes. always good result.

I put mine in a cardboard box with a winter space heater pointed in and it baked out and wrinkled perfectly.

No need to use primer? Also I wonder if there is a clear coat that can be used to help protect.

You can use quarters where the mounting hardware would go instead on spending time on taping

Just spray a darker blue high temp paint over the top of it. I’ve used black wrinkle as a base coat and then hit autozone for high temp enamels and it also comes out good

The vht ford blue is a little darker, but i don't think it comes in wrinkle. Your quarter trick is something im going to use next time.

Those little memory cards have a tiny switch on the side. If it gets moved, it will not allow any pictures or videos. move it back and it will work .

Did this same color recently too.. Not happy with the color but I'm rocking it for now. That raw valve cover looks so much better.

Looks nice but I would’ve tapped up the H, Honda and DOHV VTEC. I use to add chapstick on them then paint it. After just wipe off the chapstick and done. That way it looks more original. My $.02

If your sd card ever gets stuck on lock you could just cover the lock with tape
