I feel like the best OEM Honda seats are the 88-91 Crx, 92-96 Prelude, 92-95 Del Sol, and ALL S2000s. You def came up with those!

I will say the DA 90-93 Integra seats were comfortable as well. Swapped them into my 1991 Civic Hatch STD (Dual Point). A MILLION Times better than the Original!

This whole time I was thinking, it's an 89 seat, gonna be the same as 90-91 haha! Only 88 has the pillar mounted seatbelt (and 89 HF), all other years have door mounted, so the rails are different. Love the CRX content - it's my favorite content 😄. Glad you're back!

88 is the only year like that. 89-91 or any crx with the door mounted seat belt is different than the pillar mounted seat belt. The 88 is exactly the same floor pan as the JDM seats. That's why the JDM door cards work on 88's, the 89-91 have door mounted seats. I also believe the 89 HF's had the same floor pans and rails as the 88's. I have an 88 so I had to learn the hard way.

I’m looking to let go of my 91 civic wagon.I have a completely rust free body 91 2wd civic wagon it does run but breaks do need attention so definitely would need to be towed. I put integra leather seats in my ek hatch by taking the seat rails apart in two. Sliding the civic bottom part of the rail into the integra seat rail. The integra seats had different brackets welded to the bottom to make them work in a 2nd gen firebird lol . Listed them as "Bucket seats" $50. Im not sure if its the same for the CRX

I swear im ganna have to buy another crx for parts cause i never see them in junkyards. You should get a set of lex with fishnet headrest, then a retro seat recover kit with like old school arcade carpet or city bus seat type reto designs. Make a complete episode and call it "Retro Recaro Recover"

I believe 88 seats have different brackets than the 89. The 90-91 seats are also different for the reasons you noted. 88 has the most differences within the second gen.

88 and 89 are different also. i have a 91 sir and the only usdm seats that will fit are the 88s. hope this helps.

I think Y49 crx was only 90-91 so they just put the 90-91 rails to fit the 88-89 seats.... OR maybe they swapped the fabric from the 88-89 si to the 90-91 seat pans...

I wonder if the difference is between the 88 and the 89-91 seat rails. I have an 89 si and I have 90-91 seats bolted in and the 89 seat rails bolted right on to them.

88 Crx is the only year that the buckle is on the body cuz the seatbelt harness is on the pillar.

I have a 89 y49 crx with the older dash but the seat belts in the door...I wonder if 89 was a odd year were they just used what they had.

Yo static try replacing fast foods and highly processed food with healthy foods. Look up intermittent fasting. Cut the sugary drinks and replace it with filtered water and add Celtic salt or redmons real salt to the water. Wear a mask or respirator when messing with harmful chemicals and odors. why dont u find a stud put a nut on the stud thread it in to the height u need and put a nut on the seat side and boom its secured and set to the right height no issues
