I best recommend you invest in just buying a vcr and connecting your pc to it with some converters to capture and record footage to vhs. Filters make it look bad and when you get it authentically it would look better. The tv effect can easily be made in almost any editing software to complete it.

Best part, no commercial. I hate when the ads are often longer than the sound effect you expect to hear...

The effects are very good made

It’s pretty funny when you spot this effect in people’s videos. Normally you would not be able to hear the tape being inserted.

This would be perfect for my special halloween video. Can I use it once I started making it?

Fun fact, this is most likely Sony as Sony used the term "SP" or standard play to coin the resolution its filming at.
