VHOPE : Hobi Still Displays Taehyung's Flamingo In His Studio

The Hope On The Street Pop-Up in SEOUL features a replica of Hobi's studio. The detail was so on-point that it included something from Taehyung.
Hobi recently released his much-awaited Hope On The Street documentary. Since he was working on an album, there was footage of Hobi in his studio. Of course, ARMY spotted Taehyung's Flamingo present still displayed on one of the shelves. We actually didn't have to zoom in and hit slow motion to see the Flamingo as it was clearly flaunted in one of the scenes.
New ARMY may be wondering what's the big deal with VHOPE and Flamingo. Well, we have to start from the beginning to understand everything.
Hobi previously shared that he loved Flamingos. He added that he wanted to display a flamingo snow globe on his desk. That might just be a random fact about Hobi, but Taehyung took it to heart. But instead of simply buying a Flamingo snow globe, Taehyung did something even more special. He spent not just money but also effort to win a Flamingo toy for Hobi.
Taehyung made several attempts but failed. Look how he got motivated when he thought about Hobi. And just like that, Taehyung got his confidence back and won for Hobi. Taehyung excitedly showed Hobi his present. As expected, Hobi was thrilled to be receiving such a gift. The Flamingo then started appearing in the background of Hobi's studio throughout the years.
While Hobi obviously appreciated Taehyung's gift, his memory failed him in one of his live streams. ARMY mentioned the Flamingo displayed behind him. Hobi started recalling where he got it from. He thought he bought it somewhere and couldn't remember the exact place. ARMY reminded Hobi that it was Taehyung who gave him that Flamingo. Several years have passed and it's still hanging in his studio.
Remember when Taehyung lied to get the prize like Hobi? He even ate the paper to destroy the evidence of his lie. In the end, Taehyung succeeded and got what he wanted.
A similar thing happened when the grand prize was the Galaxy Buds+. Taehyung wanted to win the earbuds so much that he lied he picked it. But Taehyung wasn't quick enough to destroy the evidence. The boys were asked to pick again and Taehyung was the lucky winner.
The funny thing is that Taehyung didn't even win it for himself. He went through all the trouble just to give the grand prize to Hobi.
You see, Taehyung would do anything to show his love for Hobi. Be it through his words or through his actions.
When Hobi was promoting "On The Street," Taehyung was also preparing for his solo projects. But he took time out from his schedule to do the "OTS" challenge with Hobi. And even during his mandatory duty, Taehyung used his break to promote Hobi's song.
Things really haven't changed with VHOPE. Taehyung still even has the same expression when seeing Hobi being spanked. And Hobi still hangs the Flamingo toy from Taehyung in his studio.

When watching his doc, I saw it the little flamenco that Tae won and decides to give it to Hobi. He was really happy about it and still keep it in display. 💗

I adore Tae because to me, he's the most romantic. He loves living in the moment and "breaking the rules" if it feels right. He's spontaneous, and he's also like that when he loves someone. Tae can melt any heart. I love that scene where he win the flamingo for Hobi❤😊 he was so proud.

Hi Colt! 👋🏼 I feel like we just a had a conversation a few hours ago 😅. I believe the day Taehyung gave Hobi the ear buds he also confessed on how he did things or said things to get Hobi's praise and became really sad when Hobi just didn't get it. Hobi was oblivious as usual and playfully got on his knees and apologized. So sweet how Tae and the other members always seek Hobi's praise and attention. Btw...I laughed at the "Friends just for Now" reference. 💜
