It has rhe black couting over blades for protection of rust i think but good overral for those just starting out and want something decent not the best but decent.

The black coating is an anti friction coat that allows the blade to stay cooler for longer from what I've seen. Definitely not the best as you say but I think it's the best budget clipper at that price.

@JNRUSS4 did you even read properly what I said 🙆‍♂️ I never said it's the best clipper in terms of clippers, but i said it's a decent clipper for those starting out in becoming a barber.

The VGR clipper is just a more complete package, you even get a charging stand with it.

Hey when the clipper fully charged does the light still blink? Or is it a solid light
