Vevor Walk In Greenhouse

Vevor Walk In Greenhouse 10x7x7
Easy to put together with two people. Took us about 2 hours to complete. Instructions are not very clear but there is enough on them so that you can figure them out.
Bars are lightweight and one got a bend in it when the wind rolled it over. I was able to stabilize it using a pice of PVC and small clamps. Did have a couple of rips where I put the screws de poles outside of the vertical poles which caused the ends to rub against the covering. Mended the tips with duct tape , seemed to do the job.
All in all it has held up well in high winds. Make sure it’s anchored down. It definitely retains heat . Use the windows when necessary . Other than the couple of issues it does appear to be doing what I needed to do.
I’m not a gardening pro so I didn’t need something extravagant so this may be what I need. Hope it Works 4 You!!

Nice video! We bought the 10x10 pop up. It was our first time as well. The one thing that we did right was connecting 4- 10’boards for the perimeter then filling it with gravel. The low edges of the tent are screwed to the boards for protection from wind. We also cut flexible foam pieces and wedged it where it might rub against the frame. Enjoy your greenhouse!

Those were some great ideas , thank you. I left the door open during a high wind day and I guess it formed a wind catcher . The bottom excess that I covered with dirt to anchor it down got pulled out. It held up to the wind with no damage ( thank goodness) I just needed to re-anchor it. Your idea would have definitely helped with that. Other than that it’s working and holding up great. Thank you again for your feed back. I hope your works for a long time!

ANCHORING- Home Depot sells T Posts. Steel fencepost. They sell a little one 3ft tall. I bought 4 and am going to drive the whole 3ft into the ground @ my GH 4 corners & drill & bolt the top of the post to the GH frame. STOP! We get 50-60mph winds here on the Pacific coast. If I bolt the T post to the frame the wind pressure will stress every bolted connection on the frame. DO THIS- Drill a 1/2" hole in the top of each T post. Drive the posts into the ground leave the tip & hole exposed. Wrap a ratchet strap up & over the frame & hook into the T post hole I just drilled. THEN, install the cover. All wind stresses will be transferred to the 4 posts, NOT the GH frame avoiding twisting & bending the metal GH frame. REMEMBER, dont ratchet the strap too tight or you will crush the frame as ratchet straps are strong as hell. just snug it. !

Mine dissolved between the mesh. The plastic bits fell all over my garden. Lasted for 9 months.

That’s not good. Mine seems to be still doing ok. I have a couple of rips at seams after huge wind gusts. But I’ve been able to mend it fairly easy. I hope you were able to contact the seller.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m pretty sure we got those shelves at Home Depot years ago. They have been in a storage shed , a garage, outside, but still holding up . I like them because they are lightweight and easy to take apart.

could the cover be replaced with regular greenhouse plastic or is the frame too flimsy to support it?

The frame on this one feels pretty flimsy . It has held up really well during high winds . I do not know how much heavier regular greenhouse material is. However I would not try anything else other than the material it came with.

Thanks for the video. I’ve been considering getting one of these. Is the plastic cover durable so far?

  • @HopeItWorks4You

It has been so far . Except I did find small rips where I had put the cross bars on the outside of the vertical bars . This caused the ends of the bars to rub against the covering causing the rips. I mended it easily with duct tape and have not seen any more ripping. That was my mistake which I pointed out in the video. Thank you for the question. It was an issue that could have been worse if it wasn’t noticed. Other than that it’s held up well against strong winds.

Hi, do you live in an area with colder winters like north east? I wanted to see if it keeps some warmth during late winter early spring for starting seedlings. Thank you for sharing your experience.
